Days Inn Whittier, Whittier

Leak from upstairs.. Linens dirty.. Floor even dirtier.. Complained to Days Inn corporate office and they gave me a $5.00 refund.. ! Big deal. Stay away.... Gross.

Decent bang-for-the-buck if you're willing to travel to Disneyland/LA/Hollywood within 20-30 min. Once you get acquainted w/ major freeways/streets, getting anywhere is easy. Graffitti on walls, no 2nd lock on door, 2/3 of outlets don't work, bathroom door leaves 3" gap at bottom and looked kicked outward. Grab bar broken off of tub so I made sure I wasn't being charged for this damage. Caulking job at base of tub and toilet looked like it was done by a child. Towel bar loose and previously remounted. Needed extra pillow + TV remote fixed, but took 2 calls and an in-person visit to front desk over 3 DAYS to get it done; called Mgr twice and spoke to him once about it. We didn't go by lobby until check-out because of shoddy service. Mgr was very non-chalant and indifferent to our concerns, never apologized for anything. Wireless internet is free, though not clearly advertised, but you'll have to ask for user name/password. Only seemed happy at check-out, when he got paid. Puts Days Inn name to shame.
