First time at a Bed & Breakfast.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/24/11
We booked a golf trip to Walla Walla with a few wine tours around the valley. Decided to try Green Gables B&B after checking out the golf packages offered for Wine Valley Golf Course. I was amazed at the huge room and private bath in this great historic home. The breakfast was excellent, cannot compare to anything we had on our usual hotel stays. Looking forward to coming back this summer.

Owners Burnt Out
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/07
Beautiful Craftsman Mansion located in a lovely neighborhood. Decor and rooms are charming. The compliments stop here. The Inn is for sale, you can tell that the owners are burnt out. We were treated rudely from the moment we checked in. We were 30 mins early and still rushed through checkin as the owner stated she wanted to leave (she lives in cottage next door). She forgot to tell us we could watch VHS movies-as she was rushing-we discovered this and asked for one of the movies in the brochure in our room-we were declined as she (who left early) did not want to get it for us. During breakfast guests are asked to line up and be quiet like school children so the owner can give INSTRUCTIONS, and were told that she DID NOT wish to repeat herself-yes you read correctly. We left our door locked-they went in anyway. The old plumbing in the downstairs restroom broke, my husband reported it and was not thanked but glared at. My husband has his laptop plugged in a common are downstairs-he left for a moment and they unplugged it. On and on as to the rude treatment. These two need to retire and quick. I have stayed in many B & B's and enjoy the warmth. None to be had here. I do not reccomend this place. It was once nice by reading old reviews-but many bad ones out there for the last couple of years.
