Best Hotel - Ever!

What a find! A beautiful Hotel right next to the hispeed lift at Deer Valley ski mtn. Austrian styled rooms, award-winning restaurant, complimentary breakfast buffet with our room, twice-a-day housekeeping, and service, service! These people know your name and treat you like a VIP every minute you are there. The GM greeted us personally and thanked us for the business and staying there! I have traveled world wide for 35 years that is the first time a GM sought me out to say thanks. His crew will do anything for you there. If you have a request, they take care of. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, apres ski and dinner. Incredible selection and you need lunch & dinner reservations since they are so popular. People from the surrounding condos and private homes are always there for the dining experience.
We meet people from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Canada that have been coming there for years. With only 20 real hotel rooms, no kitchenettes - thank God, I understand each room is different with different floor plans and furniture. Some of the guests told us they have a special room that they return to each year and they reserve a year or two in advance since the place is so popular. In fact, I learned the Hirsch doesn't need to advertise since all of their business is repeat or word of mouth. The people that work there really make you feel that it is your home and they are only there to help make you feel more comfortable. I don't what service training their GM is providing but a lot of companies should look and listen to his style. He's making it happen.
We have decided never to ski or stay any place else. We were right next to the lift and even though there are less expensive hotels and condos to stay in Deer Valley none can compare to the positive experience we received at the Hirsch.
If you can get a reservation space, you will probably never go any place else in the future. Just don't share it with too many people so I don't lose out on getting my next reservation there. Good Luck!
