Sheraton Golf Parco de Medici Hotel and Resort Roma, Rome

First let me start by saying: this is a nice hotel, and we were pleased with our stay, but it was only for one night. The reason I'm giving an "average" for service is because I did not have enough contact with the staff to report a good or bad rating. I also gave location "average" ratings, because the location is could be great or crappy depending on what you want. We spent our last night in Italy there before departing from Rome. This location was great for us because it is only a few minutes from the airport. If you prefer being in the heart of the city and closer to museums, shop, and monuments, this is not the hotel for you, unless you have lots of money to blow on cab fare. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very large. One feature we enjoyed was the fact that the bathroom has speakers in the ceiling: you can be brushing your teeth, or sitting in the bathtub and the speakers broadcast whatever is playing on the TV directly into the bathroom. The only issue we experience that night was after dinner we came back to the hotel around 10 and wanted to go for a quick swim. After about 10 minutes 2 staff members came outside and told us they had just put cleaning chemicals in the pool and we probably shouldnt swim in it. Gee, thanks for posting a sign or something. But we survived, so they couldnt have been too harmful. just be aware that at night you might wanna ask first befor taking a swim.
