Ambassador Hotel, Fort Worth

I was double charged 12/28/09. I had to switch rooms because there was no heat. It really is a dump. Don't let the name fool you. This can't possibly be part of a national chain.

This place should be closed down the rooms are dirty, and if you use a credit card expect to be charged at least twice. furthermore its not from what i was able to find out part of the national chain.

I had two reservations here, one suit and one with two double beds. We went up an elevator that, telling from the cracks, was not safe.When my family went into the suit, it was ok enough. But when i opened the bathroom door I saw that the toilet had not been flushed and there was so much hair in the bathtub. The bathroom had not been cleaned and from the stench it was obvious it had been dirty for quite some time. We told the front desk and they moved us to another suite. In this bathroom the toilet wouldn't flush and the bed had hair everywhere under the covers. The floor it was on was not air conditioned and fealt horrible. With the humidity and weather in Texas, there was more damage being done to this floor than anything. The doors were so old we had to slam the door shut several times in order to keep it shut. The room with double beds was not as bad but still made my skin crawl. there was offensive things written all over on the inside of the drawers and there was something that looked like lip stick on one of the blankets. Their breakfast room is so nice but the only thing they had for breakfast was coffee, apple and orange juice, bagels, bread, and english muffins. And lets not forget the butter and jelly. The owners must have more important things to spend their money on. I seriously do not know how they get away with this, being apart of the choice hotel chain and all or how they get away with their inspections. I have stayed at plenty of nice choice hotels and let me just say that this place was a disgrace to their chain and i will never stay at a "quality" inn again.

Please do not stay at this hotel, There were bugs in both our beds in the morning. I would not trust any room in this hotel. We showed the person at the desk, but don't know is anything will be done. We left that morning. It really made me sick.

This hotel charged us TWICE for our room! We've been going round and round with them since OCTOBER to take the second charge off our credit card. HUGE RIP OFF! On top of that there was either no hot water or scalding water, oh and then there's the flood. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU CAN@!!

We used a credit card to book a room and then paid cash. They put it on our card also! We disputed it, I called the hotel and they varified that I paid cash and took it off the cc, just to have it appear two months later. We called the CC company and they said that the hotel disputed the reciept. This place is a RIP_OFF!!! It is not worth what we paid much less double!!!
