Salsa del Salto, El Prado

My husband and I visited Taos for the first time and were extremely pleased with our stay at Salsa del Salto. Pam and Jim are the owners and were very hospitable. Very clean rooms, breakfast was out of this world. If you want to visit Taos this is the best place I would recommend. Close to the ski area too. Enjoy your stay.

We stayed for two nights in October 2008, an really would not mind to stay longer. It is a very nice place, very clean, with real home style kitchen. As long as Pam and Jim are the owners, I’d choose this place over Taos proper.

I loved the location! It is set back from the highway close to the foot of a majestic mountain. The views are magnificent. The service was above and beyond what I expected in a B&B. Wonderful food,an accomodating and friendly family atmostphere. The room was lovely, clean room and comfortable.

Great views; beautiful, peaceful setting; perfect getaway for outdoor activities and relaxing. The breakfast was great - a lot of delicious, home cooked food. It was very clean and my room (Lobo room) was spacious and comfortable.

Our experience was a fun and informative stay. Pam and Jim were gracious and very helpful. The food was out of this world. Rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Would recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing stay. A solid value.

It's so convenient to get to the ski valley from here. So many nature walks... and those incredible views. Love it!

We stayed in the Yerba room at the end of August. Clean, quite room with a beautiful mountain view out the window. Great stay! Jim, Pam and Marty all made us feel comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful. It's near both the ski resort and the Taos shopping area. My husband and his brother also stayed in the Tram Pas room last winter while skiing and were very pleased. We would certainly recommend Salsa del Salto. They also had a pool, tennis court, hot tub, fireplace at the main lodge and other amenities.

I love the location- not far from town, and out where there is beautiful scenery. Also you can relax in your room or enjoy outdoor activities. Breakfasts are great!

Salsa gets all stars. The location is beautiful and quiet. Mountains out the back, sunsets out the front. Green grass courtyard and balcony. Swimming pool if you like. Big trees to sit in the shade under. Jim, Pam and Marty all kick in to make sure you are well taken care of during your stay. They go way out of their way to accommodate. The breakfasts are stellar. You wouldn't want to eat that well everyday, but you are there to treat yourself! If you want to eat very healthy they have plenty of fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt, but I recommend the creme brule french toast. Afternoons are various goodies often New Mexico style. These are great folks running a great place. If you aren't happy here, you shouldn't be on vacation.
