Budget Lodge at the Beach, Virginia Beach

I was very dissatisfied with this motel. I was suppose to have sn efficiency with a sotve , micro. ,frig. and sink. I only got a frig. and micro. There was 4 people in the room and had to keep asking for bath towels as they kept giving us handtowels. They never vac. the floor once while we were there. Of course we were at the beach..lots of sand. Stayed in better places at a lot cheaper prices and cleaner. Would not recommend this place!

I liked that it was across the street from the beach, not at all what I had expected when making reservations via Hotels.com who said it was "on the beach". This is how they get people to book not knowing what they're in for until they reach the hotel. The hotel was basic, nothing spectacular. Bathroom was not very clean, curtains stained. Actually was afraid to use or sit on anything in room. Upon checking in noticed a broken light bulb left in floor from one of the lamps, had to call Front Desk right away to have replaced. The one thing I can give good ratings on was the staff who was very nice and professional.

This place is great!! For the price you can't beat it. Right on the ocean and all rooms come with a balcony. The staff was great and was very fast with all our requests. The rooms were your typical $110 rooms, but for the location you can't beat the price. We were VERY happy with the place

we stayed in this hotel. I do wish I would have gotten a room that was on an upper floor. It was clean. We did not have any noise. The pool was nice and warm!! we could catch the trolly right outside the room. I am looking into staying here again!! the breakfast did leave us wanting more. my guys are big eaters!

The price could not be beat if you are looking for a cheap place to stay. The hotel is run downed and the free breakfast is a joke. The pool had a film over it, not very desirable to swim in! But if all you are looking for is a way to save your money, this is the place to stay.

This motel is just across the street from the beach, all rooms face the east. There is a small little kitchen with stove, hair dryer, coffee maker, 25' TV with FULL cable, safe, very fast internet, patio - yes it is a little old but it sure beats paying $150 a night - standing on the patio (I was on the 6th floor), looking south you can see at least a full mile of ocean front. Check in was quick, seems like a very safe area, clean, all in all, a great deal.

No complaints except parking. Close enough to walk to beach , but, not command $125 a day rent. Nice people worked here. Was here Thanksgiving week.

Overall, it's pretty run down but what do you expect for under 100 a night! The ladies at the front desk were all the most friendly people I have ever met at a hotel and I have stayed all over the country. I was able to over-look all the other short comings because I couldn't get upset with them! They made my stay worth it.

It was the perfect resting place for the rock and roll 1/2 marathon. The location is perfectly placed next to the Hilton's bar but still quiet. We really enjoyed the experience.

the hotel sits in a turn around in middle of atlantic ave. bring earplugs to drown out the noise, staff was friendly , but hotel is pretty old and showing its age, had the worst continental breakfast ever, would barely cover a desk top, food and all. breakfast i've seen
