Loved it and can't wait to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/09
This resort is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All rooms have spacious balconies that look out onto the Gulf of Mexico. Easy walk to Time Square in Ft Myers Beach. Hope to return in 2010. We asked to extend our stay and the resort was very helpful in finding us another unit to stay in for another few days. Have recommended this resort to other friends that are timeshare owners and love to spend time in Florida. Wayne & Cheryl Ellis New Hampshire

I will never stop coming here
By Amanda, 05/28/09
I have been coming here every year since I was 4 years old. I am 28 now and take my own family there. We own a summer week there. It is clean, spacious, and a perfect setting for family fun or relaxing. The beach out front is private and not crowded at all- unlike the awful public beaches.

Perfect!
By Aud, 03/02/08
The location is fantastic! Easy beach walk to the pier, Time Square & shopping area (.6 miles) or turn right & your at the tip of the Island where there is a lovely Park with trails, concession. The units have everything you could need. Beach front units have a balcony where you can see the Gulf-perfect for romantic sunsets! Very clean. Wonderful pool & hot tub, bikes to use (trolley stop is right there as well) play area for kids & grills. Wonderful programs. Can't wait to go back!

Love it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/07
I LIKE STAYING AT WINDWARD PASSAGE BECAUSE IT IS SLIGHTLY OUT OF THE WAY OF ALL OF THE COMMOTION OF FT. MEYERS BEACH AND YET I CAN WALK TO ANYTHING I WANT TO DO THERE. Windward Passage is small enough to allow the staff to be very friendly and yet big enough to supply all the amenities I want and need. The pool is fantastic- whatever the new system is, I CAN FLOAT AND SWIM EVEN BETTER THAN EVER AND IT IS ALWAYS SPARKLING CLEAN. THE BEACH THERE IS NOT OVERCROWDED, AND IS ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN. A HAPPY WINDWARD PASSAGE "CAMPER"

PETE & REPETE!!!!
By Pamie, 07/17/07
Excellent! Love the beach there, very clean, not too close to the end but close enough to walk to the end.Nice distance from downtown so traffic is slow. Fantastic large screen room for family & kids with cooking & eating area.Hot tub & Pool excellent/always clean. Down home atmosphere. The under cover seating area and bar is a big plus for those who want to beoutside but be in the shade. We have some family member there almost every year.Highly recommend it!!! Maybe we should keep it to ourselves!! FABULOUS wish we could buy one of the timeshares. Would like to try the 2 bedroom units. Have always had the 1 bedroom & it is just a little small in the dining area

Great place, much to offer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/07
Windward passage sits right on the Gulf Coast, close to Sanibel Island and a number of tourist attractions, including Edison's winter home in Ft. Myers. Pancake breakfasts, meet and greet, a heated pool in September make this place a great deal for families and singles. Fun anytime of the year. Fireworks off the pier, lots of activities in the summer months too. Ft. Myers proper has movies, restaurants, anything you want. Disneyworld is close enough to be a day trip. It comfy, not fancy. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

We loved the location and the resort, it was very clean, inviting and well managed. Pool was quiet as well as the resort itself. Stay 7 days and enjoyed each day and the sunsets nightly.

go every year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/06
We own weeks at Windward Passage, and go back every year for the 4th of July. It's easy access on & off the beach due to it's location. You can walk to everything, shopping, restaurants, etc. Only thing you'd need a car for is to/from airport, or other sight seeing ventures. I recommend vacationing here.
