The Days Inn Island Beach Resort is a quaint, two-story building that would look right at home in Key West, but it is actually located right on Fort Myers Beach. The rooms offer basic comforts decorated in a tropical motif, such as cable televisions perched on wicker stands and refrigerators. There's an outdoor heated pool, free fishing pier, and a private beach. Jimmy B's Bar is open from 11am to 2am every day, and features live entertainment, dancing on the upstairs dance floor, and free Sunset shooters every night.

It was nice ...but its gone

Visited about 7 years ago. Went back this year and its gone. No were in site. Thought I was losing it. It was nice and looked forward to staying again. The word on the street is condo/hotel units are going up. Hope the prices stay reasonable.

Liked the location.

Even though the room was small, it had room to move around. The sliding door lead directly onto the patio area where a nice waitress was ready to bring the drinks. The price may seem a little steep, but you are paying for location and it was consistant with the area. Good location for shopping and eating.

Couldn't be worse

The rooms was so very small. The shower was ridiculously small. The a/c did not work that well. The bed was way too hard. We had a price discrepancy when we checked in and the counter clerk was rude. Overall, this was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Buyer beware.
