Days Inn Florence/I-95 North, Florence

it was very clean. what they dont say is how good the security is. they have 24 hr. video monitoring and a police officer stationed on site. they also dont mention how very nice and popular he restaurant next door is. it is on a trail and pond with an alligator or two. very popular with the locals! the indoor pool is basically an atrium! very sunny and cool. and the breakfast was awesome-- incl. biscuits & gravy! staff was very pleasant & accomodating. only negatives: 1. the price has a tendency to draw parties and Springer types. however, they seem to be placed toward the back of the property. again, on site police. 2. the hallways and rooms are exterior. however, we stayed upper floor near front and there were a lot of decent folks, families and retirees staying there. we felt very much at ease. again, on site police. 3. the biggest negative. the rooms r antiquated. they eriously ned to be brought into at least the '80s. large rooms but looks like andy and barney stayed there when they were the on site police. still, with the price at $60 plus other nicities, we are looking to stay again this year!

I went about a month ago, I had been traveling all day I was beat. When I walked in to find out what the prices were to the rooms. The Front Desk Employee named "April" was talking to a man in the lobby about how"she was so high and just smoked a blunt". I don't believe she knew that I was standing there since her back was towards me. I asked to see a room worried about what type of hotel it was. I did go look at a room. The rooms were very nice. I had decided NOT to stay there after my 1st impression of this hotel. I did go and stay at the Thunderbird which was across the street. I Do Not Recommend this hotel to anyone

I WOULDNT GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL...OUR STAY WAS NOT THAT GREAT. THE ROOM SMELLED LIKE PAINT FUMES, THERE WASNT NOT ENOUGH HOT WATER AND I FOUND A CRACK PIPE..IM SO GLAD I GOT IT BEFORE MY 2 YR. OLD DAUGHTER...I WOULDNT SEND NO ONE BACK THERE..I WONT GO BACK...WE STAYED IN SLEEP INN AND IT WAS FINE WITH NO PROBLEMS AND THE ROOMS WERE CLEANED....THE FRONT DESK LADY WAS VERY FRIENDLY....

The deskclerk hung up on me when asking for directions because she was busy checking in a customer. That was pretty unsatisfactory, but other than that the rooms are big, clean and wonderful especially for the price. The Wireless Interenet Connection however was real hit or miss. Recommended stop in the end because of the rooms and overall cleaniness
