Trapped in Central arkansas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/15/10
To begin with the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The lobby is filled with plush furniture and foliage. Staff was friendly and willing to oblige any request. Rate was a steal! Free breakfast was a big plus and the big guy who cooked it was very engaging, mannerly and polite. The lunch buffets were like going to granny's house. The bar was more of a club then I really like but the bartender was very well turned out and made a very lush and full drink. The pool area (indoors) while not the biggest, wasn't crowded. Good for lounging and reading. The only discordant note was the presence of so many college students at night(it was explained to me they dorm there). The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the TV had a lot of channels. Next time I'm in the pine bluff area for business I know where I'm staying.

Excellent Hotel
By Jennifer, 08/02/09
I think this is the best hotel in Pine Bluff. Excellent price, excellent service. The pool was great and very clean! The food was excellent. And the rooms were big and in good condition. I will be back here every time I visit Pine Bluff.

Nasty Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/08
The hotel was a mess. House keeping did not leave fresh towels nor did they vaccum the room or change sheets. When I asked about house keeping at the front desk. The clerk said no one would be in because of the holiday. The hotel itself was filthy. The fake plants were very dusty. Our package said there would be free breakfast. We did not have any breakfast at the hotel. The bar was never opened. The rooms smelled bad and we had to take cold showers. This hotel needs to close and reopen under better management. I will never stay at this Ramada again. This was a terrible experience.

Filthy Dirty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/08
I recently stayed at this hotel. For one thing they overbooked and were in complete confusion. It was extremly dirty. The cups in my room were dirty and had lipstick on them. The fridge was leaking causing the room to smell like mildew. The carpet was filthy. They did not vacume the room and didnt leave clean towels in the room. It was definately not worth the "discounted" price we received at $69 a night plus taxes!!!!! Stay Away from the Royal

Short and sweet
By m t t, 06/20/08
Hello, I was just at your Pine Bluff Hotel this past week-end. I was one of the guess there last year also. I must say it was a little more clean last year and the staff there last year was much more friendly. Now I know when you get that many people in one place there are bound to be up sets due to the large crowd if nothing els! Its summer and it was hot and lots of people.Managers are always busy too. I have been one myself, it was in food.If you deal with people you dont get these kind of letters. I think myself a fair and truthful person. The elevater went out it was ok, the air in our room had gone out , we go through the night, and we got grate food from the convintion, from God ofcrouse! It was when I ask the young lady to let me know if I could get my money back for the last night. First she let me stand in line for 30 min. and after asking to see her again she came out to talk to me. I called her back later that morning and she said she was E-Mailing some one as we spoke! I ask her to call me and let me know one way or other OK, Ok she said !So I have not heard from her and it was all put on my card , so I guess that was her answer! People skills, thats what I call them !I am sorry, I will see what I can do , I will get back to later ok! Simple as that! thanks for listening, Mrs Townson

Do Not stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/07
I don't see how they can call themselves a "Hotel". Need to close down and start all over again. Workers did not look happy. Didn't see housekeeping until last day, then they asked did I need service, if you were not in your room you didn't get anything...Mold in rooms, rust in toliet and tub. Lamp shades hanging or torn some had lights so the room was dark. Do not get in the pool, it didn't look clean at all. TV's missings out of some rooms or the little '19 you do get, didn't work. Rooms had a wet dirty smell. Small fridge needs defrosting.

Not the value we were expecting
By kenzies_mommy, 03/20/06
Our experience with this hotel was not what would be expected from a hotel that caters to a convention center. To start with a smoking room was res. a month in adv. to our stay. When we checked in we were given a nonsmking we were then relocated 3 floors up. After carrying our luggage from one room to another we disc it was still occupied. After being told to go back to the first room and yet again carrying our lugg we were brought ashtrays and told to keep it between us. Once inside the room we disc the ceiling fan wouldnt work(the motor/speed switch was gone),the drawer in the dresser was broken comp loose, some of the plug ins did not work, the commode would not flush comp(which after being worked on still did not work the rest of the night and next morn), the lock on the balc doors was broke, and in the middle of the nite the headboard on the bed my fam was in came loose from the wall. The next morn was a total disaster starting with the fact that the breakfast menu states break is served 6:30 to 9:30 am. I called the desk to get # for rest and was told couldnt order till 6:45 and was given the wrong # I called the desk back and was given two more #'s which no one would ans. My family went down to rest at 7:00 am and found several people waiting to be seated and served. We were amazed to find only one waitress trying to take care of so many people by herself. The majority of these people waiting were familys which had to be in the conv center by 8:00am (as I did also). After waitng several mins a few familys left we were then first in line we waited a total of 20 mins with no serv. I then left the hotel got fast food and returned. The family that had been in line behind us had just been seated upon my return. As it was now 7:45 am we observed a receptionist from the front desk finally come over to the rest and help seat people. Finally as I attemted to check out there was a prob with the #'s on my credit card;(I did come up with correct total at least), as we were traveling home my wife just happened to pull out the receipt and guess what it was not even the correct receipt for the room we stayed in! Needless to say that was definitly the last time we will stay at this hotel.

I will not stay here again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
We stayed here with a group of others from our area for a gymnastics meet in January of 2005. The only thing I can think of to say nice about this hotel was that the employees at the front desk were friendly. Our room was nasty! I couldn't even stand for my children to walk around barefoot in the room. The bedding was disgusting. Needless to say, I didn't sleep very well that night. The restaurant in the hotel seemed nice enough. However, there was only one person working and she was SLOW! We were the only customers and it still took forever to get our food. I sent one glass back that had lipstick on its rim. The food was decent, but it was way overpriced! We will be back in the area this winter for a gym meet, but I will be looking elsewhere for lodging!
