Home Place Inn, Nicholasville

Not that I was expecting a whole lot to begin with, but the carpets in the room were filthy, and the furniture was what looked to be every bit of 25 years old with rips and worn spots to boot. To top it all off when I inspected the mattress for bedbugs upon check in (none found) I did find that the top of the mattress had come apart. The solution the hotel used was to flip the mattress and put a sheet on it upside down to hold the top on which became the bottom. The coffee maker didn't even keep the coffee warm in the room. I can say it looked like relatively new tile on the bathroom floor...at least mold and mildew hadn't set in. In a pinch it will do, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there. The high speed internet was nice, kept us up to date with weather info out of state.
