No elevator for elderly or breathing/health problems

I feel the accommodations were quite clean and comfortable, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that arrived with any aging, breathing or health problems that may be associated with trying to move luggage up or down the stairwells with no elevators installed/available. Once we returned to our room daily, we felt we were prety much trapped until for some reason we had to venture back, once again, down to the street/office area. A restaurant within view of the Motel 8, I think it was called "Food to Go", we asked if the Motel 8 had a recommendation for this restaurant in regard to breakfast, they preferred to send us a couple of blocks away, which we decided against, but just so you know we did go to the Food to Go to restaurant for breakfast and another night for dinner and it may be simple food fare but it was most of the friendly and tasty food we experienced in this area. Another problem we had was the daily taxi fares we had to pay to get us to and from the wharf area, we assumed when we rented this accommodation from Canada that we were within walking distance from San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf area.. not so, we spent a lot of money for transportation to and from the places to be in San Francisco.
