A Very Good Hotel

The room was decent. Good size, not spacious, though. It was very clean, no funky odors at all. The mattresses were firm and I slept well. The people were very nice. The best part was the continental breakfast. It was probably the best hotel breakfast I've had in this price range. Bread, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee--and best of all: biscuits with sausage gravy. It was excellent. An hour after we left, I remember telling my wife that I wished I would have gone back for seconds on the biscuits and gravy.
The town itself leaves a little something to be desired, but as far as getting away from the more populated areas, but still being near enough to get to all the things to see in that area, it was a pretty solid place. The local restaurants were pretty decent. Nothing overwhelmingly special, but better than a lot of small town restaurants.
