Super 8 Custer Crazy Horse Area, Custer

The room was decent. Good size, not spacious, though. It was very clean, no funky odors at all. The mattresses were firm and I slept well. The people were very nice. The best part was the continental breakfast. It was probably the best hotel breakfast I've had in this price range. Bread, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee--and best of all: biscuits with sausage gravy. It was excellent. An hour after we left, I remember telling my wife that I wished I would have gone back for seconds on the biscuits and gravy. The town itself leaves a little something to be desired, but as far as getting away from the more populated areas, but still being near enough to get to all the things to see in that area, it was a pretty solid place. The local restaurants were pretty decent. Nothing overwhelmingly special, but better than a lot of small town restaurants.

Great breakfast, clean rooms, and friendly staff. We stayed 4 nights in the motel visiting the various attractions of the area (Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, Custer State Park, etc) and the location of Custer was perfect.

Liked the comfortable bed, service, pool, location. Decided to stay a 2nd night and were glad we did. I recommend this hotel :good value for your dollar - better than many upscale hotels we visited!

The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room we were given had a really cool view of the huge rocks behind the building. Sounds funny to view rocks, butthey are awesome. Room was very clean and comfortable, would stay again! Sorry we didn't get to try the hot-tub and indoor pool- no swimsuits with us in the winter!Next time!

Liked the location and the rooms were typical for a Super 8. The price was not typical, could not get a room for under $100 and we were told this was their usual rate!
