Red Roof Inn Johnson City, Johnson City

I'm always amazed that Jim at the desk remembers me and my name and is very friendly all the time. I feel like I have a friend each time I travel to Tennessee. Keep up the good work.

Pros: This hotel was a great pick for our family vacation. The price was great compared to other hotels in the area. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel has recently undergone a renovation and it looked great! The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I've stayed at other Red Roof locations with the same positive results. Cons: The rooms did not have irons/ironing boards and there was an extra charge for rooms with refrigerators. They also didn't have a continental breakfast, just coffee (the coffee was great though!). It was still an overall great experience and value for a family on a budget; will definitely stay again.

This place has received some major landscaping work.The grounds are immaculate with fish pools,rock gardens,and flower beds, and all are well cared for.I loved the little garden spots with benches where you could sit and relax. It was a nice touch.I hope this place remains pet friendly and that people respect all the signs that say "Keep off the grass".We stayed here with our dogs while attending a dog show,and it was really a pleasure although the owner seemed a little nervous about seeing so many dogs on his property.We were extra careful and left all areas clean.The coffee was awesome---you could get all kinds of coffee and specialty coffees by using the big coffee machine in the office----great coffee especially for a motel.Spotless rooms and nice people.The nicest hotel we have stayed in this year and a great deal.Also, it was conveniently located to restaurants and shops.We will return.

Clean room, great staff, quiet location, close to everything, and a great price. For the value there is no place else in the Tri Cities. I stay every time I'm passing through!

If you are looking for a nice place to stay, that is clean, friendly and reasonably priced, I would recommend this Red Roof Inn. The desk clerk was very helpful in giving me directions and guidance to the local store and shops in the area.

It advertises that they have rooms for $34 but in fact the rooms start at $48. It may not be false advertising but one surely feels that is the situation.

We are frequently in Johnson City, and we've decided to just stay at the Red Roof Inn every time we go. It is very clean, it's quiet, which is great if you have kids, and the staff has been wonderful every time we've been there. We don't even bother to look for another place anymore. It's the best value for accomodations in Johnson City!
