Courtyard by Marriott Fishkill, Fishkill

The property is right next to the highway(RT9), which is very easy to locate. During the stay, I think I did not asked for an allergy free room. I had to turn the AC system to minimum level so i can breath easier. To find customer service at mid night, I had to call many times and was told the manager is not in. I have stayed in other courtyard marriott hotel before, this one is way below the standard and not worth what I pay for.

When we got to the room around 5 PM, my wife and I wanted a cup of coffee. So I went down to the lobby and got 2 cups, no milk was there and no one to help me. When we started drinking them in the room they were cold. So I said I would make coffee in the coffee maker in the room. I pulled out the glass carafe there was a half of a pot of old coffee in it with a layer of mold and mildew on the top. Who knows how long this was there. I would say it had to be at least 2 weeks. This means this room wasn't used all that time. No inspection of the room was done. There was mildew smell all in the room. I opened the window and aired it out. I called the front desk to get a new glass carafe. I waited for 1/2 hour no one came so we left to go eat dinner. I brought the glass carafe to the front desk and told everyone what had happened to 5 employees standing there behind the desk. No one helped me. I can see that this room is given to Priceline.com customers who get a discount. All the furniture was scratched and very old. You would never know that this was a Marriott hotel from being in this room. It felt more like a Super 8 or Econolodge. I don't know if I'll ever use Priceline.com again. We felt like second rate guests. Below everyone else. Definitely we were not treated like guests who went through Marriott to book it. By the way. Priceline never published my review at their site.

the staff is friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. we lost hot water one morning, received free breakfast and a free night's stay. other hotels would have maybe offered an apology at best. one of the managers even went to far as to stand in the rain, putting plastic bags over the open windows in my car during a rain storm..talk about csr service, in a world where you wonder if it exists anymore. the rooms are immaculate, well kept. i agree with the other review though about the air. would recommend staying here, will definetly return.
