wonderful room
By LINDA, 3/10/09
We came to Corbin to see a DOCTOR . We wanted to spend the nite before so we wouldn't have a long drive so early and not know where togo . I called about two-thirty after goggling motels/hotels this one came up in top .THE GUY I TALKED TO WAS SUPER NICE AND RESERVED ME A ROOM ; WHEN I GOT HERE THE LADY I MET WAS ALSO SUPER NICE . THE ROOM WAS GREAT . I'LL GIVE IT A 99.9% UPON LEAVING THE NEXT MORNING THE LADY WAS ALSO SUPER NICE. I'LL SURE STAY AT BEST WESTERN AGAIN .P.S. .THE ONLY THING WAS A FEW PAPERS UNDER EDGE OF BED. But the Room was alround worth the cost

Trustworthy Staff
By Tamara, 8/6/07
Upon checking in, we went to the pool to enjoy some play time with our two young children. I had booked a crib online, but forgot to inquire about it when we checked in. To our surprise, while swimming the crib was placed in the room ready for use. The continental breakfast was better than most. They had a waffle iron and several other options for all to enjoy...including stuff for our finicky children. The gentleman assisting with the breakfast was VERY polite and helpful. My husband has back problems and has to travel with a special pillow which we left at the hotel, but didn't realize it until an hour down the road. We called the hotel and told her the problem, she informed her head maid, recovered the pillow and had it waiting for us at the front desk when we traveled back through town. I would recommend staying here to any friends or family.

Don't stay here
By George, 7/21/07
The registration attendants couldn't answer my questions and didn't have my reservation. The room was dirty: candy wrappers on the floor and bugs in the tub. The curtains blew open while the A/C ran. We had to put things on them to keep the curtains shut. The shower went from warm to cold to warm.

very unhappy with stay.
By cynthia, 7/20/05
i am going to start this by saying we had three rooms reserved for about one month. we payed well over $400 for our stay. when we checked in we were given our room keys and was not told we could not have our rooms for at leased another hour because they had the carpet ripped up and hadn't layed down the new yet. the furniture was not in the rooms yet. we had been on the road for over 7 hrs. myself had 3 kids ages 12, 6, 2, and i am almost 7 months pregnant. with my husband. my sister had an 18 moth old a 7 yr old and her husband. and my parents was with us also. when i went to complain that we had reservations and they needed to give us a room. the women at the desk had no sympothy and told us we had to wait. i feel for us paying so much money and having reservations for such a long period of time we should have been given a dicount or something. children so young do not understand why they have to wait. they should not had to. also when the house keeping cleaned the rooms the next day we had to go get fresh towel that should have been left in the rooms when they cleaned. we have spent plenty of money on best western hotels all over and have never had such a problem. if i get no response from this i will have to contact the better business bureau. we stayed in the corbin, ky best western on the july 16, and 17 and checked out early on the 18th. our room number were 208, 210, and 126. thank you cynthia stepp.
