Holiday Inn Boxborough Woods, Boxborough

1) No Central heating - Heater runs all night, never shuts off at a set temperature. 2) Internet connection is about 0.82 Mbps. It is so slow you cannot download large work files or even watch a you tube video. I had to use my blackberry to download the file and watch youtube 3) Food is pretty bad...better than the vending machine...but that is about it 4) Smoke from smokers outside comes in through the AC/heater vent 5) Rooms are old 6) I have been coming there for weeks and yet the same front desk person doesn't even know me. I have stayed my last night at this place...going to Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites MARLBOROUGH

This hotel is on the nicer end of the spectrum for Holiday Inns. The service at the front counter and room service staff was excellent. Staying Holiday Inns can be hit or miss affair, but this hotel is now my place to stay when I visit the area on travel. Oh yeah, and it's a non-smoking hotel too, for you non-locals. They have a pool, and work out room, and a restaurant. Neither did I visit, but the room service food was well done, and prompt. Definitely a good place to bring the family too.

The only thing negative was that the pool area was very cool, although we brought our suits it was to cold in the courtyard to go swimming. We'll be coming back Jan. 13th, for our daughter's 13th birthday, that was how much she enjoyed her stay last time! It's quite a long ride for us, as were coming from Springfield Ma. Clean room, helpfull staff, comfortable bed. Quite place to stay, easy access off I495, close to Worcester and Boston. Place sits back from highway in a wooded area.
