Hyatt Regency Irvine, Irvine

I love the Hyatt. Everything goes well when we stay there and we've stayed at the Irvine Hyatt for 5 years in a row always during October. The food in the fancy dining room is so yummy. Wish I had the recipe for the pumpkin spice soup. It's so delicious and served in a tiny pumpkin. I'd go back tomorrow for more if I could! Our waiter was so attentive and personable. We had a great time chatting with him. Good job, Irvine Hyatt.

When we arrived there was no one to assist with the bags. The check in staff provided no information. I booked a romance package and the champagne and strawberries were not in the room ruining the surprise. I paid for a breakfast buffet for two days but they canceled it on Monday. The housekeeper was very nice and our room was spotless. The other staff had no personality and lacked basic skills. The beds were comfortable and the towels were nice and soft. The toilet paper was the worst cheap rough paper ever, bring your own. There was no hot water in the morning for showers just luke warm.

This guy should probably look his girlfriend over for the Crabs.

It is clean, nice but they would charge you anything they could charge. This hotel is mainly for the coporate employee or business traveler who may not care how much the company would pay. While the internet is not free. It is ridiculous that they even charge for using the phone or dial-up. Eventhough guests have to pay $13 for the parking overnight (daily), the parking sign indicates that guest is responsible for any risk or lost. No restaurant is closed to walk except those expensive restaurant and cafe inside. Hotel is definitely not for the family vacation.

This was our 2nd stay at the Hyatt Irvine. We got in to the room and started to relax and my girlfriend stared to feel the fleas biting her and didn't mention it to me at that point. Then we we got ready for bed and then I felt the fleas biting me and saw the fleas on the sheets and comforter and was appauled. I questioned my girlfriend if she felt the fleas too and she agreed. I then immediately got on the phone with the front desk to request a room change due to the fleas. At this point, I placed the Hyatt on my blacklist of the hotels I choose not to return to. I do want to mention that the Front Desk promptly changed rooms for me, but they did not mention what if anything would be done about the flea problem.

Room was fine - had an issue that the management would not listen to at all in regards to my reservation. Parking was expensive and inconvenient to the hotel.

this hotel is clean, location is not bad, it's pretty much next to the 405 and its close to the other freeways as well, 73. i've had a good experience at this hotel, the staff was very friendly and was actually quite helpful...at first they didn't have my room available, but they found one later on and gave me a pretty decent room with my preferences...food is a lil pricey but it's not bad. and the hotel is not pricey too... beds are comfortable.

Location was convenient to the 405 freeway. Light from the hallway comes in under the door. Be aware they charge $12 for self park

I've stayed at this hotel twice in a years time and both times were a great experience. They recently remodeled and the rooms and over all look of the hotel is very warm and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was clean and neat when we arrived. Room service was excellent and overall it was a great visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Irvine area!
