will not be back

This is the letter sent to management.
I am the mother of a 13 year old son diagnosed with autism. I checked into the hotel last night for his birthday so that he could relax at the pool after school. We often stay at local hotels in the winter because he loves the water and it helps him to relax. . I called earlier in the day before making the reservation on Expedia to confirm that the pool was working and heated and asked what time the pool opened. I was informed that the pool opened at 4:00. I made the reservations and packed my children's bags so we could go straight to the hotel after picking them up from school. We arrived athe hotel and was informed that the pool did not open at 4:00. It would not open until 5:00. I am not sure how the front desk messed this up since it is the hours posted on the door of the pool. I am not sure if you are familiar with children with autism but having a specific schedule and plan is very important. My son normally takes his bath and starts winding down at 6pm. We go to the room until 5:15. When got the pool and are informed by the lifeguard that we can not get into the water for at least 30 minutes because the chlorine was just put into the pool. I tell him how I was informed by the front desk that the pool opened at 4 and now I am being told that it will not be open until about 5:45. His response was that the pool was open but we just could not get in the water yet. To me that is the same thing as the pool being CLOSED!! Now my son is nonverbal and there are signs that help him to calm down and realize what is going on. He was excited when putting on his swimming trunks because that was a sign that we were getting ready to swim. He was happy when we walked in and saw the pool. What he did not understand was why I had put his swimming trunks on, walked him to the pool, did not allow him to swim, and ended up taking back to the room. He cried kicked and screamed thru the lobby, on the elevator and in the room for about 20 minutes. Nice relaxing time for my baby so far:( At 6:00 (two hours after we were told that the pool would be open and about his wind down time) we went to the pool. My son sat down by the pool for less than 5 minutes and had a tantrum because he was tired. We ended up going back to the room, giving him his bath and putting him to bed. This trip was a waste of my time and money. It is currently 3:30 am and I am so upset that I am sitting in my bed typing this to you. My only reason for checking into your hotel locally was to enjoy the indoor heated pool with my son for a few hours after school to help him relax for his birthday. This experience offered just the opposite.I will be checking out as soon as my son wakes.
About 8:30pm I went downstairs to the bar to read my magazine and have a cocktail since my son was sleep in the room with my 15 year old daughter. I get downstairs and sit at the bar. I sit for 1o minutes at the bar unacknowledged. Finall I say excuse me to get the bartenders attention and order a margarita. "Excusse me can I order a margarita please?" He response was, "uhuh" Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....talk about pissed!!! She then ask the gentleman next to me, "What will you be getting baby?" He orders a drink for himself and the woman with him. She makes the woman's drink.....she makes the man's drink. I get up and go back to my room. After I get up I hear her say, "whatever!" I walked to that elevator so fast because it was taking every bit of my strength at this point not to lose it in this freaking hotel.
The gentleman at the front desk was very polite when checking me in. That is the only nice thing I have to say. UGH!!!
