Motel 6 Scottsdale, Scottsdale

This is the worst managed hotel I have ever stayed in. The management treats you like it is your privilege to stay there no matter what conditions arise. They can't be bothered with you and if you get angry, they will call in sick and not show up. The hotel is cheap but until they change management and upgrade service you are getting nothing for your dollar. Go somewhere else and spend a few more dollars, don't let these guys ruin your time in Scottsdale.

I have stayed at Motel 6 many times in the past but, after this stay I will not waste my money here again. The staff here acts like they dispise the guest. There are notices posted in the rooms that read hang towels and reuse. It says that they will remake your bed but, linens will only be changed every third day. I request service but, no one ever showed up. So bring your own towels, garbage bags, cups, toliet paper and vacuum cleaner. The light is not on here.

For a motel in the heart of Scottsdale this place needs a cleaning inside and out. After you rent a room you will be ignored. The rooms are suppose to be cleaned twice a week but, that will not happen. Forget about getting clean towels and sheets. The beds are in terrible shape.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 alot in the past while under the management of G.M. Casey Humbert. In July 2007 they switched managers. The new manager does not have good customer service skills. He is disrespectful and his appearance is not professional. The housekeeping service is hit and miss. Even if you request it at the front desk. Maintenance is non-existant. I had a plugged toliet and they handed me a plunger. The ice machines hardly ever work. You are not given any extra time to pay. It's 12.00pm or you are harassed and told to leave. I think that changing managers was a huge mistake on corporates part. This new manager needs more training in working with the public.
