never stay or recommend this place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/11
I reserved 3 three back on 07/16/2011. When I arrived to check in, thge front desk clerk was NASTY, RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I questioned the billing statement when I saw information not related to me. I asked for a copy of the bill and was trefused to get a copy. When arriving at the rooms the keys didn't work right away. Once inside the room there was a Very nasty odor Musky smell, the room smelled like powder, the faucet in the shower was broken, when I notified the front desk, I was told 'NOT MY PROBLEM'. Also prior to arriving at the hotel we called to get the address and the same clerk hung up on my family member. THE FRONT DESK CLERK WAS ONE OF THE WORST PEOPLE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN A LONG TIME

My place of choice when working in Flag. Love it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/08
I love the Ramada west in Flagstaff! Great staff, clean rooms, free wi fi, Free Breakfast, Great location with walmart & Bashas across the street. Really worth the money compared to other hotels in the area. In fact I found the ramada superior to hotels that cost twice as much. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. Whats not to love?

ok
By Rick, 10/23/08
The Ramada was a nice hotel, but to me it was more like a motel. There is a wal-mart next to it. We had to go there a few times. I would not stay there again more then likey. Just it did not feel like a hotel and the room was small. The hotel is right next to the high way, so it can get lode. So bottom line if I had to go to Flagstaff again i would NOT go to the Ramada West. Thank you for your time, and if you are going to go to flagstaff, have a good time. (=

By jason, 6/19/08
Rub a towell on the floor and you will see. Very Very dirty and they do not care. We had a 1 year old with us and walked on the floor and her feet were very dirty could not believe it. Spend the money and go somewhere else.

not bad hotel, rude front desk
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/6/08
My husband and I stayed there May 26th for a few nights. The rooms were clean. There wasnt a problem with the vents. There wasnt any bad smells from smoking. The breakfast was good and ready for us at 6am the next morning. The only problem was the pool was not heated and the jacuzzi did not have any water in it. I asked a man at the front desk by the name of Raul and he said it was being repaired but the entire time we stayed there I did not see a thing being done to fix it even though the person I spoke to on the phone said it was going to be fixed by May! The internet connection also seemed to fade in and out but when I asked the same man he told me he did not know what I was talking about and that the internet was up and running. It was a good hotel for the most part but the front desk man I spoke to did not seem to know what he was talking about and spoke quite rudely to us.

Great Little Hotel!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/07
We stayed one night here this November 2007 and was greatly surprised. We choose this hotel because of it's great location, close to I-40. We had never stayed at a Ramada before and I am quite picky because we are traveling with two small children..one still on a bottle. The room was excellent. Clean, great size, small frig and microwave right in the room (excellent if you are traveling with kids) and QUIET. We traveled with two other couples and their kids and we could not hear one thing from either of their rooms. No train noise or freeway noise either. The price was right too. Oh-and a hot, delicious breakfast in the morning! To say the least, I think we have found a new hotel to stay in when we visit Flag and we will definitely try other Ramadas during our travels. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was very friendly and helpful too! Great place!

front desk mistake
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/18/07
I made a reservation by phone for July 9-13 but was charged for a "no show" for June9. There was no apology for their error. I was stuck with paying the hotel charge for one night. The staff was rude and inconsiderate. I can't get in touch with the manager by phone or e-mail. It was the worst front desk experience I have ever had.

We can't wait to get back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/3/07
The Ramada West is a great place to stay if you are ever in Flagstaff!! The hotel has been completly remodeled!! The pictures on this website DO NOT do it justice! The beds are excellent! The outdoor pool is great, the breakfast which is FREE has sausage, eggs, bagels and much more! The employees are very helpful too! We asked for dinner ideas and Oh boy did we get some choices! We tred all of the places they suggested ( inour 6 days in Flagstaff) and we never disappionted! I will recommend the Ramada West to anyone who asks me for my choice when it comes to a place to stay. Not to mention that the rooms are clean and roomy!! Thank you Ramada West for a GREAT stay!!

Very nice place to stay
By NICHOLAS, 3/4/07
They have a free breakfast between 6-9am, wireless in every room (plus internet plug ins, if you need them). They're around a bunch of resturants (Red Lobster, Sizzler, Olive Garden, major chain places)but non of the local places (which are in downtown flagstaff). If you want to go out and drink it'll cost about $7 for a taxi to get downtown (you're about 2.5miles away).
