Hotel Imperial, Opatija

The pricing has changed lately and now rooms costs from 40 Euros (with balcony) to 75 for a double (with balcony). All rooms I have seen look towards the sea. This hotel is amazing for the price you get breakfast (this was beginning of september) and everywhere you look in this hotel you see style. All rooms have 5 meter tall ceilings and have mantained the classic Hasburg style (large beds, nice wall papers, great harmchairs and massive windows/doors).
Breakfast is served as a great buffet in a royal hall with great massive paintings on the ceiling and freshly cooked foods.

If you can afford 40� I suggest you try this hotel, it's probably a lot better than any other hotel (including the 5 star ones) in Opatjia and you will get the chance to experience the glory of a holiday hotel that use to be used for the Hungarian/Austrian royalty last century
