Awesome Weekend!
By mountaingirl, 11/7/09
My husband and I had a long weekend and decided to head to Bryce Canyon to do some hiking. We didn't want to stay at the big commercial Resort (Ruby's Inn) and we were lucky enough to get a room at the Bryce Valley Inn and it is just what we needed. After a long day of hiking, we headed back to our room and cleaned up and then wandered around the Clarke's property checking out everything there is to see. We spent almost an hour in the art gallery drooling over the incredible pieces they have for sale and then headed to the year round Christmas Shop that was just to die for it was so cute. And dinner at Clarke's Restaurant...delicious. The bread they bring you is like heaven! And our waitress was amazing as well as the Utah wine. I know, right...Utah wine? Try it!!! And the little grocery market next door had fresh doughnuts that we took back to our room for breakfast the next morning. We tried having lunch at Ruby's Inn's restaurant the next day because we wanted to hike some more before heading back to Tropic. I would not recommend eating at Ruby's Inn unless you're about to die of starvation and you can't possibly make it to Tropic. The food was cold and we only saw our waiter twice. He didn't even bring us our food! And don't drink your drink too quickly because you probably won't be lucky enough to get a refill! Clarke's and Bryce Valley Inn was definitely the best part of our trip! I cannot wait to go back!

Good location, Bad all else
By DrorC, 7/6/08
Service was lousy - didn't know how to do their job! Didn't take responsibility for their mistakes - such as not allowing us to book another night even though they promised we could stay...

Beautiful Backdrop!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/14/07
Absoloutly loved my stay at the Bryce Valley Inn! I regret that I only had two days to spend since I was there on business but I am looking forward to a more leisurely return. The room was immaculate and everything looked brand new. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I enjoyed a very relaxing night's rest due to the silence of a country night. And the most incredible part was the view of the "Sinking Ship" and the rest of Bryce Canyon.

If you look for trouble ...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/13/07
I stayed in this Motel at the beginning of June in 2006 and it turned out OK. However this year (2007) at the beginning of June I got charged again, on the same card. First I was curious and called the Motel. The Lady at the front desk couldn't help me right away but took notes to hand them to the manager that she could take care of that. I called again, this time I talked to the manager herself (Marie Jagger) after TWO similar charges of the same amount went through. She admitted getting the note from her co-worker, but now claims I made reservations. My conclusion: If you really want to stay in this Motel, better pay cash. It will save you a lot of trouble!

Unhappy in Utah
I reserved a room for 1 night and used my credit card for security. Paid for the night with a Travelers Cheque. Plus was billed for 2 nights on my credit card. Not a happy camper

Wonderful stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/06
We loved ouor stay at the Bryce Valley Inn! The rooms were so clean and extra comfortable. The setting is perfect in the beautiful Bryce Canyon Country. Tropic was a wonderful little town full of the wonderful western town atmosphere we were looking for on our vacation and our stay was topped off perfectly by the friendliness of the great family that runs the business and some surrounding businesses. We have recommended it to our friends and recommend it to anyone who is in the area looking for a good time.

Great Stay!!!!!!!!!
By Heather, 4/3/06
We will be back! My family and myself had a wonderful stay. We met the new Owners and they treated us like old friends. The rooms were big, nice and clean which is very important to me. We walked next store to eat dinner and we had fresh trout!! The trout was like they went outback and brought it in off the fishing line. We had a great view of Bryce Caynon and felt like we were in heaven. Thanks for the wonderful stay to the Clark's the New Owners!!! The Olsen Family
