Days Inn, Berea

This hotel was the most disgusting place my husband and I have ever seen. It was late and we have been driving for more then 12 hours so we did not look at everything till we woke up. First the lady said it was her best room (which are pictures they show on website) Do not pull back the sheets there was NO fitted sheet only a flat sheet and a mattress pad that was not the same size of mattresses. Which incidently there were NO mattresses only box springs. The lady told us not to put toilet paper in the toilet well I had to go to the bathroom and I wipe every time and she was right it would not go down till about 6am. I had to plung the toilet 10 times and it did not work. The heater never worked till about 3am when it became about 100 degrees in the room but not in bathroom that was still 30 degrees. Oh and the soap was already used and only one towel in the bathroom. We asked where we could get breakfast and she pointed to the gas station. This is the worst place you could ever stay. Please pay the extra to stay. Dont let the cars in the parking lot fool you my husband and I believe those were all there broken down vehicles to make it look good.

First off, we waited 45min at the front desk for someone to show up, then a really rude man waited on us. Changed the price of the room, said we would have a refrigerator and microwave WE DIDNT GET EITHER ONE. Then, in the bathroom was BODY HAIR IN THE TUB, ON THE TOILET AND ON THE FLOOR. It was the nastiest place we had ever stayed. The man at the desk was so rude to us. I will go back to staying at COMFORT INN and never go back to any DAYS INN AGAIN!!! There are other hotels in Berea, Just DONT STAY AT THIS ONE.

The management changed the rate on us in the middle of our stay and told us we lied about the number of people we had in each room. We argued for over 2 hours with the front desk lady and called corporate 4 times!! They still tried to charge us over 2 times more than they quoted us on the phone. The AC and phone did not work in one of our rooms, there was no second lock from the deadbolt and someone walked into our room at 2AM!!! The front desk did not beleive us and said the police wouldn't either. I will never stay at another Days Inn because of my terrible experience at this one. The pool was disgusting and the breakfast was poor.

I would give them a customer service rating of 0. The rooms were okay, but the bathtub was dirty. We stayed for two days and had to change rooms after one night because of a leak, and there was no money refunded or anything to compensate for our having to move. Also, I left my novel there and called several times and no one ever answered which I find to be poor service.
