Holiday Inn Albany Mall-Dawson Road Hotel, Albany

This was the worst hotel that I have ever been to. The rooms on the second floor were extremely hot and after having the a/c on for two hours the room was still hot. The toilet seat was brown and disgusting, so was the bath tub. There were spiders in the sink and in the bath tub also. They had trash cans placed around the hotel to catch leaking water. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There were palmetto bugs 3-4 inches long in our room! Unfortunately, at least 1 came home with us. I hope that's all or I will be contacting our lawyer. Also, I could not find my room key & went to the front desk to obtain another one. The front desk person asked for my room number & made me a new key without checking any identification. I was mortified!!

I did not like anything about this hotel I experienced spiders, mildew, water damage walls,a water leak, no breakfast buffet, no pool, slow wi-fi, a borken bathroom door. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever!

When I made reservation was told continental breakfast opened at 7:00 on weekend. There was no continental breakfast it was a restaurant that charged $2.95 for a bowl of oatmeal. Room was not what I would expect from a Holiday inn chain. Not the cleanest place I have ever stayed and was not very sound proof. We were awakened at least once every night from outside noise. I have been told to try Jamison inn or Sleep inn next time I am in the albany area.
