Travelodge Barrie Ontario CA, Barrie

I have stayed here 6 nights and obviously the people who have complain have nothing better to do than complain, they seem to be te type that would complain so just there is something to complain about. The only problem I had with the hotel wasn't even the hotel itself, it was the restaurant that is subleted, the women who worked in it freaked out because we wanted to eat in our room, and gave my daughter crap again when we wnt to pick it up after they called to say it was ready, yet we brought all previous meals to our room no problem. The maids cleaned well and restocked everything, the front desk were more than helpful, we checked in late, (10 minutes before the pool closed) and they let us swim anyway. The maids clean (it is their job) and if they weren't in the hallway, that person would complain about that. No one is perfect but I found this hotel sure tried. Unfortunately, had visitors that nothing makes them happy, and they whine to anyone who listens...Keep up the great job! Kristen-Alberta

Heard from a family memeber in Barrie that they just failed inspection. So how clean and reliable can their rooms really be? Well I stayed and Found garbage just under the bed.. Someone didn't vacuum? Both hotels next door looked nice and family says they are. Hotel that I could see from my car in the lot was under contruction and looks like it will be done soon!! Should stay there next time. i think its a comfort in as well that looks great from the outside, but so did this travel lodge. So I'm not too sure about that. We are up once a month or so.. sometimes not enough room in the guest rooms for all of us.. So i will be shopping around. Definately not coming back here though.

the pool is great and the hottub just needs to be a bit bigger. the only thing about the rooms is that the colour should be more brighter so that it looks more comfortable. that is all my family and i have to say
