HORRIBLE SERVICE - Must read this!!!

Stayed 1st nite okay, they did not clean or replace towels second day and when asked after 4th time (there were 5 of us who needed showers) Rich said, we folded 500 towels today and we are DONE, there will be no towels tonight. We literally had to go to another hotel to shower. When we told the manager Stephanie, she indicated that Rich said nothign like that happened and offered me 5% off next stay. Amazing and a joke. I would steer clear of this hotel - the crowd is rough, sirens all night long and you can hear every tenant around you. And by all means, if they have taken advantage of you - CHARGE BACK YOUR STAY to your credit card.

I know what I am getting when I come back.

The rooms are spacious and adequately furnished, good shower facilities. Sometimes the walls are a bit thin when the persons next door gets rowdy. Some of the non-smoking rooms have been used for smoking and the staff has been good about changing room locations. The 6AM breakfast cook fixes the best breakfast that I have ever had at a motel or hotel. The choices are excellent, hot, and fresh Dining area is a bit cramped but adequate. Staff and management have always been considerate and accomodating to our needs. The motel is only three blocks from the VA Hospital and MCG which makes the location ideal.

Clean and nice but...

Very clean, nice room. My reserved room was not available when I arrived to check in but management made other accomodations for me which were good. However, due to the change to a King Size bed and a pull out sofa bed we were short any extra bed clothing other than sheets for the sofa bed. When I went to the hotel desk later that night I was told by the night clerk that he would have to bring me a blanket to the room that he was the only one there and could not even leave to go get this for me. An hour later I called the desk and was told that his shift was ending and the individual coming in would be glad to help me. Two days later when I checked out I still had not received any extra bedding.

Clean and good price!

The motel is convenient to several area hospitals. The staff ws friendly, courteous and very helpful. Our room was clean, plenty of towels and good water pressure, not just that trickle of water you get in some motels. The bed was comfortable. They have one of the best continental breakfast we have ever had; many choices to chose from, not just cereal and sweets. We would recommend and use again. Good value for the price.

Poor customer service

I stayed in this hotel last year and thought it was ok. The manager on duty then was patient and friendly. However, recently I had a totally different and unpleasant experience with the staff and managers of this facility when I attempted to cancel my reservation (due to unforeseen circumstances). Firt,I made several attempts to reach customer service before anyone took my call. Finally the operator answered my call at about 6:05 pm. By theb she claimed it was too late to cancel my reservation and that my credit card would be charged no matter what I do. When I turned to the manager and the general manager they told me that they are not in the business of making favors. So they proceeded to charge my card without regard to the fact that I was a returned customer and a good record of staying in many other Choice Hotels across the U.S.

Ok Hotel

The free continental breakfast was good. The room doors were in poor condition. Some doors if you slamed them as hard as you could it still would not close. The rooms are not safe at all. You can get a room key real easy. All you have to do is ask for one and they will give it to you. They don't ask you any questions. The bathrooms are too small the door barely misses the toilet. This hotel is meant for constrution workers and truck drivers.

I just stayed here!!!

The hotel is just a basic hotel but is clean and has everything that one needs for a short stay. It is across the street from University Hospital. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a good television. The water for the shower gets really hot which is nice after a long day of traveling. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I am a hotel snob, but I would definitely recommend this hotel.
