Better than expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/08
We found clean rooms and a decent breakfast. The pool is large enough and the breakfast reasonable. We would stay here again. This is about a 2 minute walk from hospitality lane. . This is a reasonable hotel for the rate . Sheets were clean, towels fresh and clean as well. TV worked well and there was enough heat and hot water and water pressure. I was happy. Overall, an adequate, functional hotel property. Don't expect 5 star quality for a 3 star price. What you will get is a clean, basic room.

Clean Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/08
Courteous and obliging staff I recently had the need to travel to San Bernardino , ca. area and at the advice of a friend stayed at this most delightful property. I found the staff very obliging of my every request and was especially pleased to find the manager on the property and actively engaged in helping guests in the evening hours when most hotels are staffed by part timers. The room was the cleanest I've ever stayed in. There weren't even water spots on the shower curtain rod. The parking area was well lighted and even though the wind was blowing, there wasn't one bit of trash to be found anywhere in the parking area or in the bushes or anywhere on the property. The hallways were spotless and the breakfast area was cleaner than the restaurants that we ate at in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about their comfort and personal safety.

Perfect stop!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/08
This property is the perfect stop for those traveling to Big Bear or any the montain resorts. Great to start the day at the base and drive up for a full day of skiing or boarding ! Very clean and friendly accommodations and staff. Pool was a perfect activity for the kids after a long drive. Breakfast was well done and great way to start the day. Lots of dining options within quick walk -- we enjoyed the japanese directly across hospitality lane. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great sleep.....
By Cindy, 03/07/08
We found this hotel at 10pm and they were very polite, plus our AAA discount got us about 10 dollars off. Hadn't eaten all day and there was a Mimis cafe down the street , it took all but 2 mins. The AC worked wonderfully. We like the hotel. It was very comfortable. We had no problems. The room was very nice, and the personnel were very nice. We will be going back again.

Great Place with the Kids.....
By Chris, 02/28/08
We recently stayed at this hotel and we weren't expecting much because of the low price. WOW, we were so impressed. The room was spotless and spacious. We had our children with us and they had space to play and we weren't concerned with dirty floors etc. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the bedding was above average. Check in was a breeze and warm breakfast in the morning. We had a refrigerator and a microwave. It was an excellent stay....highly recommended

Quiet and Restfull
By Emil, 02/26/08
The Quality Inn San Bernardino was upgraded recently and I've found it to be convenient, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and very helpful. An on-site breakfast area that is satisfying. It's easy to go on-line with a computer and this service is free, which I find to be a real plus. I'm working in San Bernardino and I've stayed there 3 times so far on business and consider it the best mix of amenities and affordability in the area.

Good place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/08
We recently moved to Riverside/ Inland Empire and needed a place to stay for a week before we received the keys to our new home. The Quality Inn San Bernardino is a wonderful place to come "home" to during a very weary time, moving is pretty stressful after all. The hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms are nicely appointed. We had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker and a small wet-bar in our room, all very handy for travelors or relocators like us. The pool is a nice clean pool . This hotel serves THE BEST complimentary breakfast I've seen yet. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cereals, juices, bagels, danish. All in all, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a restful place to stay in the San Bernardino area. They also have a washer/dryer which we used as well. Parking is great also, plenty of it and easy to maneuver yourself around to get to your car. Definitely give this place a try, we'd stay there again

Shockingly Good....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/19/08
Shockingly good! I was so skeptical about San Bernardino in general (sorry SB!), but I needed to be in town for an exam at UC Riverside. All of the hotels in Riverside cost over $100 and their reviews on other unmentionable sites were not great--they either seemed less than clean or somewhat noisy because near campus. I was very frustrated until I stumbled on this hotel. The Quality Inn is only about 10-12 minutes away from UCR and less than than to downtown Riverside. The area around Waterman/Hospitality Lane is actually better than the UCR area for food, at least chain food. There is a Mimi's, Chilis, Olive Garden, El Torito (I think), Kinkos and Souplantation all within 1-2 miles of the hotel. The Quality Inn was fabulously clean. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms have comfy beds and clean, but small, bathrooms. There is a large half-fridge along with a microwave in the room. They have free wifi and a desk with a nice leather rolling chair. I stayed away from the pool and faced the mountains which is a really nice view as the sun is setting. There were a few slightly sketchy truck-driver types during the beginning of the week, but most people seemed to be heading through town like me. The grounds are very well-kept. How could you do better than this for $80 a night (AAA rate)?? If I have to come back, I will stay here. I am staying in Ontario tonight because my husband is flying in and I wish I was just driving back to San Bernardino (I never thought I would say that). I highly recommend this hotel for a nice quiet, clean place to stay

Really Nice for the Price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/08
Nice clean rooms. It was quiet but busy. I stayed with my elderly Mom for 2 nights and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Coffee was good! I would stay there again. The Sizzler rest. right across the parking lot was great too.
