Nice and Quiet

Great location at the end of the main street! Nice and Quiet, we had a room with no A/C and it was fine on the 2d floor, with 2 double beds for $50 per night. It was actually cheaper to just show up and request a room than booking ahead, of course we were there in October, but the weather was a nice 70F during the day, and maybe a lite windbreaker at night, but be advised, Ensenada goes to bed at 9PM during the off-season...............

THE BEST TIME

WE WENT FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND AND IT WAS GREAT THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. THE BELLHOP WAS NICE. GIVE GREAT SERVICE. WE HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE BUT THIS TIME IT WAS BETTER THE ROOM HAD NEW A/C. AND VERY CLEAN

Quick B-day geta way

When we arrived the staff was very friendly and welcomed us with sincerity. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and the breeze was great. The margaritas were the best I ever had( 2 free when you check in) The room was clean. Went on the fishing tours and everything was prompt and the crew was excellent. There were plenty of small resturants in the vacinity and we explored safely. Just over the hill from the loud downtown activities. We could drive or walk. Good bang for your buck.

It has it ALL ...

I kid you not. Lasaro is my friend he is also the Bell man. When I come to San Nicolas I am greated by the man. As soon as I enter the lobby and he is there I hear "MY Friend, My Friend!" I am treated like family and so now are my kids as they are grown and like to hit the Disco and the pool. They now have slot machines as well as CALIENTE satelite horse racing. The slot machines cover up what used to be the indoor pool next to the Disco. In my most humble opinion San Nicolas is the BEST hotel in Ensenada, I never stay anywhere else. Been going there 13 years now. The place is clean, safe, exciting, and best of all it feels like family and coming home. You will be treated especially well.

Great Place

The people are friendly, the food is good, the location is ideal for the Rosarita-Ensenada bike ride. This place is Mexico at its best. I'm booked again.

SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE AND WAY TO OVERPRICED, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A BAD TIME IN ENSENADA PLEASE STAY HERE. FOR THE PRICE THEY CHARGED US THEY DID'NT EVEN INCLUDE BREAKFAST WHICH WAS'NT GREAT EITHER. PLACE WAS DIRTY WAS UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS.

what I disliked was the people in the next room they were too loud they were a bit ghetto. Those two days we were there they left there door wide open and played the radio loud.

Very nice people

The San Nicholas has very nice people there. They have a secure parking lot-guarded 24 hours a day. The bell man is very nice and helpful and can book fishing trips. Please tip him well and he will take some fish off your hands for his family if you like. The restaurant is 5 star. Great buffet in morning-some of the best food in town. They have a disco in the hotel. Nice. They also have a large pool and spa. Taxi will pick you up and drop you off for fishing trip also. Nice restaurant named Broncos is short distance away. They are a nice walk from downtown but quiet. If too noisy in room next door call the main desk and they will help. Only complaint is a little far from town for older crowd, but safe streets to walk there and back.
