Southeastern Connecticut's BEST KEPT SECRET !!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/08
A peaceful, quiet atmosphere with immaculate, spacious rooms and a warm, friendly and attentive staff eager to accommodate your every need. Although located slightly off the beaten path, Knight's Inn is still centrally located, enabling you to esily enjoy all the area has to offer. No need to look any further for outstanding accommodations all the way around. Knight's Inn is truly Southeastern Connecticut's BEST KEPT SECRET !!

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/4/05
The location was good. The service was NOT GOOD. I stayed from 9/30 to 10/2. The internet ad stated they had a coffeemaker in the room but there was none. One person manned the front desk, so when I told her my tv remote didn't work, she couldn't get it to me promptly. I had to make 3 trips to the office to get one that worked. In the room the chairs were filthy, the carpet felt mucky, pieces of metal hanged from a picture & mirror, the tub stopper did not work and they had nothing to fix it with, the air-conditioenr nade a clicking noise even with the plug out of the socket, the upstairs guests sounded like a "cattle run" when they moved about their room and the room's smell of smoke was unacceptable (luckily I bought scented candles with me). This hotel should have 1/4 star and should be priced @ $25 a nite. I would have relocated if I could have gotten another room reasonably but I couldn't but the next time I'm in Groton. I will not stay @ the ECONO LODGE.
