Perfect, relaxing stay
Property-Clean. Spotless nothing out of place. No matter the time of day, you saw staff cleaning the hotel.
Food- Fantastic. By the time we left, the hubby said he was tired of eating. So much to choose from so many things to eat and drink.
Pool-What a great pool? Pools' staff kept on top of the drinks, food, towels & floats. And they brought complimentary fruit around for guests on the loungers.
Jacuzzi- Hot. Real hot. Uncomfortable hot. I tried to inform them of it, but I am not sure anything was done about it. After 2 night of scorching water we stopped trying.
Beachfront- Always loungers & huts available. Lifeguards on duty during "open" hours. Blue beach umbrellas will cost you $10. Huts run about $95/day. If you reserve one, you get it from 8 until 5. If you don't need that much pampering, there are huts further down which are free of chargeThere's a valet to wait on you and there's electricity provided should you need to plug in your laptop. This same hut is also used at night for Casitas at $75 (not including dinner & drinks). Pay attention to the flags! Red = closed even though you may see people in the water.
Service = Service was at an all time high. Thankfully, I was able to refer to my last review of the property and see familiar names. I am happy to say that those that concerned me on my last visit were OUTSTANDING during this visit. There was also that little thing about being handed someone's passports during check in.....I stopped her dead in her tracks and told her they were not mine. I was also given the wrong (read: occupied) room but that issue was resolved. Granted, I sat in the hall with my bags for a while but hey.....stuff happens. The company was kind enough to call me once I returned regarding my stay & I can't say that has happened before.
Spa-Fabulous. Even of you just go to the steam room, someone is paying attention to your needs. Yeny was awesome and attentive. I burned my finger (not their fault, I am a goof ball) earlier in the room and she was kind enough to literally make me a first aid kit right there on the spot. If you get a massage, ask for Ilena.
