Inconsiderate of guests sleep

tHotel is nice,clean, and somewhat friendly staff. This night they had a wedding reception that had very loud music and a guy who had a PA system that was even louder. The reception is being held not in a private room but in an atrium that is surrounded, on the INSIDE by guest rooms. So it's like a stadium where the sound travels to every room. It's New Years day and very loud. We are an airline flight crew with a 4am wakeup and it's 10pm and still going on. Called the front desk twice, had hotel manager knock on my door to tell me it would be taken care of, and it hasn't. Also called my company's scheduling dept to complain that we could not get any restful sleep here, and they said they would call Lodgex who contracts for our hotels all over the country. Apparently this hotel management cares more about contracting for receptions, proms etc than than for their's guests rest. Oh and it does say Holiday Inn, which is a HOTEL! I intend to write this up with my airline in the hopes that we can relocated to another hotel that cares about their guests rest.

Not a good experience

We should have told that there was a prom being held. It was very difficult to relax. There were also young kids running the halls and creating a lot of noise. We were staying with several friends and we all had a very poor experience with this motel. Definitely not worth the price we had to pay. Checking around there are several motels close that offer more services for a lot cheaper price.

Won't stay here again!!!

Should have been told at reservation that check in was after 3 pm, we were also not told there was a prom going on that night, music was so loud that the rooms vibrated, hard to even hear the tv in the room. Very young kids ran the halls all night long with no adults present. Our room had a huge stain that looked like someone had gotten sick on it. The staff was not very pleasant. We had stayed here about 10 years ago, had a bad experience, but see nothing has changed at this motel, so we won't be back. For paying over 100.00 for the room, the value was terrible. Brother stayed at the LaQuinta across the road for 75.00 and got a hot breakfast included with their stay and peace and quiet too.

Great Hotel

I would totally come back to this hotel. it's clean, it's in a good area, and the staff is nice. there is a resturant in the hotel the food is good, but just so you know breakfast isn't free. The rooms and lobby are pretty and there are lots of resturants in the area. There are also lots of atractions near the hotel such as Fantastic Caverns and Bass Pro Shop. You should stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful weekend stay!

This was a great place to stay, we enjoyed the indoor pool many times during our stay. The hotel was very clean, and very family friendly. Our suite was perfect. The Staff attended to our every need. We will stay here again.

Great Hotel

This hotel had a great location! It was very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. I had a meeting there and the banquet staff was great and the food was excellent. I will stay there whenever I am in Springfield!

A Great Place To stay

It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It is located just right for us!! We will travel to Springfield often in the next several years because our son is going to attend college there, so we will be frequent guests here. Even the sofa sleeper was comfortable!
