Very clean and comfortable
Because the rooms are suites they are very roomy. This would be a great location for business travelers who need to host meetings. Meeting rooms were across the hall from rooms (not a bad thing for individuals as it is not loud and half of the rooms around you will likely not be in use part of the time. Each room also had a large meeting area with a table and chairs which could easily seat 6. While this was not needed for my stay it was nice to have a bit of extra room.
The sleeping area was very pleasant and comfortable with a large bed beautifully decorated. For those wanting a bit of entertainment the TV was a bit small, but then again I was not there to watch TV.
The bathroom was the cleanest I have seen in any hotel or resort. It included a separate standing shower and relaxing tub. A vanity was situated between the bathroom and bedroom.
Staff interaction was minimal so I could not really say anything about it or the food; however one of the famous Chicago style pizza locations is an easy block walk away and would recommend it.
The only negatives were a very slight amount of noise if planes flew into the airport too low (although it was barely noticeable) and the fact you had to pay $16 for parking.
Otherwise it was a very nice place. I can only hope future hotels are as clean and comfortable.
Depending on traffic it could take you 10-25 min to get to downtown Chicago, it tends to be more congested going to Roseland than from it to Chicago.
Look for deals as well...$99-$130 was more than reasonable then $300 price tags on special weekends downtown.
