Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport, Orlando

Was left waiting for shuttle from airport for an hour. Room in desperate need of refit and a good clean. Overall service has been pretty weak (same day return for laundry took phone call to chase, restaurant/bar often unattended, food ok, some of laundry lost, service is slow and housekeeping inconsistent with servicing of suite). Place just feels old and tired.

I like the lobby, gym, and pool area, however that's not where my family and I sleep. The rooms are old as evidenced by the smell of carpet and mildewed pillows. Our stay we for four nights, however on the 3rd night, at approximately 1:00am my son saw a humongous spider crawling along the wall. The staff did relocate us to the 2nd floor, and provided complimentary breakfast for my kids. They also gave us two more breakfast passes, but only after another explaination of the entire inconvenient and frightening experience. The van driver (Felix) drove fast and turned cuves wide and wild (I was picked up from the airport).

We just got back from a 10 day stay at the Sheraton Suites at the airport in Orlando and we definitely recommend this hotel. It is a relatively small hotel but it has a "resort" feel. It was very quiet - a lot of days I had the indoor/outdoor pool to myself. The rooms look as nice as they do on their web site. The beds were super comfy. We had a room with a balcony on the first floor overlooking the courtyard. Another perk for this hotel is that it sits on a property where across the street there is a beautiful lake with a water fountain and walking trail all around the lake. The lake is full of birds and ducks, had benches where you could rest, and the trail around it was very open to all of the hotels that surrounded it. I felt very safe walking there by myself in the evenings. Beats working out on the treadmill any day. The staff were very friendly, we got to know them as we were there for an extended stay; there were even hugs from staff when we left. We feel like we left behind new friends! The food and service at the Maghoney Grill was excellent. The buffet breakfast was awesome - lots of fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurts, cereal, etc. My compliments to the chef! A free cocktail in the bar came with our room every night and they had a very nice selection of wine. As a matter of fact, we arrived at the hotel very late, shortly after the bar closed our first night there, and the bartender even opened up the bar for us when he realized we had intended to drop in for a nightcap. Now that is service above and beyond what one would expect. Thanks Fred! We had an awesome stay and hope to stay there again on our next visit to Orlando. The only thing I would have expected - as this hotel caters to many business travellers - is that there would have been free wireless access to the internet in the rooms. It was an extra $10.00 a day for wireless access. However, on a positive side, there were two computers in the business center where all guests had free access and usually there was not a long wait to use a computer. Oh, the hotel also offered a free shuttle service to and from the airport so we were able to save money for one day of our car rental as we took the shuttle to the hotel and went back to rent the car the next day. All in all, this hotel offered great service at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend it.

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

I went here with my family last year. I have young kids and they were so nice they gave them candy and everything.My kids cryed when we left. We had the greatest time they have so may family activities and i have nothing bad to say about this hotel.GO its amazing. Oh and you can put your children in a day care so me and my husband had the day to our selves. it was nice p.s. im pregnant

I liked the atmosphere when you walking. Thr front desk was very paitent with all my pesky touristy questions and then would have to repeat her self to the next guest after me. Thr rooms are very clean. Love the lil chair to sit down at the vanity to get ready, but thats me as Im a girly like that. Neat pubs near by. the sign direxting me to the hotel made me laugh hard as the second line form the bottom just didnt seem to fit in.

Appreciated prompt shuttle service from Orlando Airport. Our room was above and beyond what we anticipated. Not only was it immaculate but the decor was outstanding and the bed very comfortable. We also enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. A beautiful place to stay. Would not recomend restaurant located in hotel. Fruit flies at the breakfast buffet were a turn off.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel. Our stay was so enjoyable, the room was beautiful, and it was so close to the airport which was important because I had a flight to catch. Even though it was about 2 years ago that we stayed, I still say that this hotel was my most favorite. When I'm in Orlando again, I will not hesitate to reserve with them.

Expedia arranged lodgings at a local hotel for my job interviews; the place was filthy and they quickly moved me to the Sheraton after I arrived. I was astounded at the opulance, efficiency, and cleanliness of the Sheraton; along with the excellent gym and pool. The restaurant was great as well. A friend (contractor) was in awe of the suite and the quality of materials used in construction as well when he stopped by. The location was great and the employees helpful. Hooters is within walking distance; shuttles to attractions available, and the area is great for kids or romantic getaways; next to the freeway (easy access) but quiet. The room was luxurious with two double beds (very comfortable) and a sitting room with a sleeper sofa and full entertainment center; a massive business desk and internet connection, and a refridgerator and wet bar in-room as well. A paper was delivered each morning. I live in Sarasota now, but whenever I stay in Orlando I always stay here! A definite MUST TRY! I recommend highly!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Sheraton Orlando Airport while visiting the Universal and Disney themeparks. We got a great rate and there are close restaurants by the hotel. Close to the airport, but a little drive to the themeparks. The courtyard has a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool with beautiful lighting at night. Our room was a suite and had a living room area with a desk and a refrigerator! It was wonderful! The Sheraton Sleeper bed is a must for comfort!
