Dissappointing

Pros - the help was very nice and courteous - the snack bar people were very accommodating as well as housekeeping and the front desk. Which is what i expect from Marriott. The room was spacious and the bathrooms were clean. the washer and dryer was a welcome surprise. the kitchen had good appliances - stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine
Cons - we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Room 501 3/24/11 - 3/28/11. It was musty. It was dated. The air conditioning did not work well, old tVs, old rugs - stained sofa only one phone. The kitchen was not equipped with the all utensils - no spatulas, no can opener(manual or electric) no mixing bowls (Had to ask for one) no fry pan (had to ask for one) no spatulas(bought one),no tablespoons or serving utensils, only one steak knife and only one carving knife. There was no equipment for the stove - pans or broiler pan - nothing. So the convenience of the kitchen was actually inconvenient - it lacked equipment. The reason we chose this room was the kitchen. Snack bar should serve breakfast later - especially on the weekends - 11 am is too early to close. actually the snack bar should be opened 24 hr. The coffee station was not always available on 3/25/11 at 2:30 am on the way out to airport needed cup of coffee none was available - empty!!!! decaf had some - ice cold apparently never checked!!!! I will say over all very disappointing for a Marriott. We usually stay at Marriott - rarely at the courtyard - i don't think we will stay here again. and i would not really be eager to stay at another courtyard it seems the pics are better than the rooms.
