FossHotel Lind Reykjavik, Reykjavik

Located near Reykjavik main street, Laugavegur, and thus a great location to explore the down town area. The room was good size, very clean and thick curtains did a good job at keeping out the night time light. If you don't take the lift and use the stairs, there is a great view of Hallgrimskirkja! Also included a European breakfast with a nice selection of fresh fruits, meats and breads. Breakfast is from 7am but if you check out early (around 4:30am) you can ask for early breakfast. The staff was very friendly. They also helped us to arrange our trips and excursions. Tips: you can Flybus Pick up at the reception! Ask for a room on the second floor, there is a great view!

The central location was good. The staff friendly and the rooms clean and freshly painted. But very small rooms and ridiculously small bathrooms with a corner "stand upright in one spot" shower. We traveled as a couple and were given 2 twin beds with poor mattresses. I liked that the room was N/S and I liked the breakfasts. I would not stay here again, and would only recommend it to someone, to whom, these things are not important.
