Dueren's Post Hotel, DüREN

The hotel had an excellent location in the centre of duren with in walking distance of the many shops and the large indoor shopping precinct.The hotel is also situated with in a 5 minute walk of the main bus station linking it to the surrounding area and the city of cologne and only 5 minutes by car from the motorway. The hotel it self is very clean and as you would expect from the germans very efficient.English is spoken in the hotel with the staff been warm and friendly.The restaurant offers very good,well presented food at reasonable prices.The hotel bar offers well priced drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, though for some strange reason remains closed on a saturday and sunday. The hotel has a private car park to the rear which is protectd by cctv and barriers controlled by reception. I have used this hotel on four seperate occasions travelling through germany and believe it to offer extremely good value for money.
