Club Embarcardo Pacifico, Marina Vallarta

Ok..seriously i read the reviews. I was a little scared at first going to it I didnt know what to expect. Expecially bringing my neat freak mom..Anywho...I had a wonderful time!! Sure the room wasnt the fanciest. Was pretty small and plain but we were given the option of upgrading if we wanted for a small fee. Really the only time we spent there was sleeping anyways so who really cared. The food was very good. We ate at the snack bar the marine restraunt and the gourmet one. Mmmmm the chicken fajitas at the marine restraunt. The kids loved the snack bar though the most. The service in these three eateries was wonderful. Expesically the marina restraunt. Hector and his group are wonderful and made us feel really special! Same with the bartenders. Many times they brought us our drinks it was great. And every single staff member was wonderful with our kids (aged 3 and 10). The pools were a hot spot for sure. Nice and clean, not too cold. Great place for family. There was an issue with some bad tourists and it was quickly fixed. All in all it was a great experience. Some things i would have liked different but you have to go in not expecting a 5 star hotel for a 3 star price. With the service we got from the staff though it did make it feel like we were in a 5 star! Thank you guys for making our trip memorable Oh yeah and it was a great location if you want to wander the marina. Just a skip away!!!

It wasn't nearly as good as I'd though, when I read the discription on it it said it had a beach but there was no beach just a brick wall, the food was bad I didn't know what I was eating half the time and the service was horrible they always say oh be there in 5 minutes 5 minutes...30 minutes later they come to your room for maintanance. I am never staying at this hotel again and I urge everyone to do the same, but aside from the hotel Mexico was amazing!

i just got back it was the worst hotel for the price. False advertisment and no activities to do like it was said the food was awful and there were only certain times you could eat. Then for lunch u had to walk far and stuff never again will i go back there and i will not recommend this place

All I can say about this trip was that it was the BEST week of my entire life and I will rememeber every second of it for the rest of my life!! I've neevr been to a hotel with a better location!! Marina Vallarta was incredibly beautiful!! Also, I don't think I saw one bug the whole time I was down there which was big plus! Apparently the resort has recently got new staff because the service was impecable! I don't know how anyone could have ever complained! By the second day, the bartenders knew what drink you liked and they would bring it to you without you even askihg for it! Make sure you do the bar deal, what a great deal it was! 100 pesos got you a taxi to the bar, in the door, and a beer once you got there! AMAZING!! Everyone go to Hilo!!! The activity staff was also the most amazing group of people I have ever met..in my whoooole life! hey keep you entertained everyday from 10 - 5:30!! Spend your week in the round pool with the activity staff!!-- Ivan, Emmanuel, Jose Luis, Raul, Luigi, Simone and Sara!! You guys are amazing!! Also the best waiter was Jorge!! haha I love him!! I miss you guys!!

Even though we read the reviews, we booked our vacation at the Embarcardo Villa Pacifico with an open mind. The location and grounds of the hotel were excellant but the service/management of the hotel left much to be desired. As mentioned by other visitors - the beds are hard as rock; the pillows lumpy; no shower curtains; garbage taken from the rooms was left in the hallway overnight; there was never enough cutlery (knives or forks) or even plates during meal service. Our room was next to the ventilation vents of the Mayan Palace next door and when we made a request to move to a quieter room, it was made to deaf ears (I guess they spent time at our villa as well). The al a carte restaurant would not accept us for dinner as we had no reservation; this after attending that afternoon and being told none were required and there were several empty tables. By mid-week, we were of the view that meals were best sought outside the hotel grounds.

All-inclusive meant we didn't have to worry about carrying cash around everywhere and didn't have to take real long to wonder about where to eat. The pool was always clean, the pool bar was incredible (Victor and Pedro were AWESOME)!! I went on a whim with my best friend and girlfriend and we had a blast. The hotel doesn't offer much in the way of activities, but a cab ride into town is cheap (the busses scared us) and there's a lot to do and see around the area. Location is good, food was decent (the al a carte restaurant next to the hotel was terrific, albeit slow). When you don't spend a lot, you usually don't get a lot, but our money was well spent staying at the C.E. The lobby tour guide was pushy but nice and we actually got some good deals once we gave in... GO FOR IT!!

the food is rotten. at the buffet there were ants crawling all over the desert table and the birds were in your face when you tried to choke down the slop. and the ants didn't stop there they were in your room too. the toilet didn't flush and had to be fixed everyday. there is no beach there just a big dropoff. but you can sneak next door and go parasailing and jet skiing. so if you like hair and ants in your food great but for those prices i prefer better food not the low grade dog food there. i wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel was a great place to stay, cute security.... Hola Jose. Como estas? and friendly servers, it was great, at they hotel they have to guys there incharge of night life, and what they do is you can get the tickets to the club right there and they drive you to the club and at night at the hotel they also have karakoee.... i would go they again in a minute! oh yea and there is a lady there that sells all the tours for cheaper than outside, difinately book through her! (she sits inside the lobby)

I liked just about everthing about the embarcadero especially it's bargain price. I didn't like that there was no water in the rooms. Most places place water bottles in the rooms. We had to go out to a nearby grocery for water. And there was no snacks available. We had to go to the grocery again! The guard at the gate across the street where the beach club is was a bit rude but most everyone else were very polite. The kids jumped from the rocks in to rather shallow pool. That's very dangerous! We really like the marina area. Nice place!

We just love our stay in Club Embarcadero Pacifico, the staff is great and the food is excellent, great value, We will come back.
