Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City

I figured the Trump brand would be top notch, but honestly I felt the room was A 2 star 1990's room. The mattress was old, being ocd I black light every room i stay in and my first room failed, the second room i asked to move to did pass and did have a newer mattress and brand new bedding. The gaming and dining are tops, but the rooms are not so good, but you get what you pay for and the prices are good. If you have never stayed in 4 or 5 star hotels and stick to franchise style hotels you may find The Trump Taj Mahal to be a step up, but imo a small step. ts a solid 3.5 star hotel.I

We went to the Taj with no experience of the hotel at all..... It was the nicest, biggest, friendliest hotel in AC. Stay here!!! I stayed in the brand new chairman tower and it was great!!!! The pool in the taj tower was great to.... this truly was an amazing hotel. good job trump!!

I have been to Taj mahal poker room few times but never stayed at the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms and the excellent choice of restaurants. I would highly recommend NY sirloin steak @Safari. The pool was neat and clean and there were few hours reserved only for adults. I would visit again soon. Bob

On August 3, 2010, I was a guest at the Trump Taj Mahal. At some time during the day, my wallet was pickpocketed while I was walking in a hallway on the main floor of the hotel and $600 was removed. Fortunately, the wallet was turned in , but without the money. The hotel offered nothing to me to compensate for this loss, although I have been visiting it two to three times per month for the past several months. Trump Taj Mahal is unsafe and does not care about its guests.

The room was a good size. The beds were comfortable. The view of the ocean would have been fabulous if we could have seen through whatever that was dripping down the windows. The bath tub was surrounded with black mold in the grout. We politely requested room service clean it while we were gone all day gambling. After speaking with the Guest Services Representative (who was very nice) we felt a little better. There was a little bit of concern after our discussion because she appeared to know exactly what we were talking about before we finished describing the black mold. I offered to show her a picture of it that I took with my cell phone but she said that would not be necessary. She said she would call and get it cleaned for us. We did not mention the windows because honestly we did not want to be "complainers". After all, windows are much harder to keep clean. We only asked that the mold be cleaned from the bathroom. When we returned to the room, late that night, the black mold was still there. No attempt to clean the bathroom had been made. We couldn't help but wonder how quick Mr. Trump would say "Your Fired" if he had to stay in a room with a bathroom that dirty. Before we checked out, we again politely reported the black mold in the bathroom hoping to help the next guest. We checked out early because we planned to gamble some more and did not want to stop and go get the luggage from the room in the middle of it. As I checked out, my husband went to the Parking Garage where the car was parked in a designated Handicapped Parking Space. He kept his room key to show the Parking Garage Attendant so we would not have to pay the $5 parking fee again. He drove the car back to the front of the Hotel so we could load the luggage. The Parking Garage Attendant made him pay $5 again. He explained that I was inside checking us out of the Hotel but we had been guests for two nights and he had just moved the car. She would not listen so he had to pay $5 again. We went back to the Check Out Guest Services Representative who checked us out and gave her the $5 receipt. She was very courteous and after checking with her supervisor refunded the $5 parking fee. We enjoyed the Casino and the Boardwalk but we will not stay at the Trump Taj Mahal again. The White House Sandwich Shop was great! We ordered the Half Steak Sandwich with cheese, onions and peppers. It was plenty for both of us and it was very good. Tony's Baltimore Grill was also very good. The fried shrimp was fresh and tasty. It is informal and has a homey atmosphere. We also tried Docks Oyster House. We ordered the corn and clam chowder to start the meal off. It was excellent. We also had the seafood platter with friend shrimp, crabcakes and flounder. It was good but honestly probably not worth the price. The atmosphere was so nice and the wait staff couldn't have been better.

Stay in chairman tower often, great everything. Linens, amenities, the zero noise, the beds are awesome, I can't say enough about it! Enjoy!

My boyfriend took me to the Chairman Towers for my Birth Day and it was Fabulous!! The room ws decorated contemporay which I like alot. There was a fee to get into pool which at first I did not agree with but for a facility that size it was justified. There were plenty of places to window shop and eat plenty of drinking holes. There were lots of families the week-end we went so maybe it is family friendly? The staff was very accommadating when asked for additional services. Note don't forget your toothbrush, bc they donot give out any. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!

Like oh my gawd...I went there with my husband Ronald and we had the best time EVER! While he was at the tables I found the sexiest massage therapist and totally asked him to come up to my room and give me a personal massage! Well he did and let me say I never had better in my life! Im going back without my deadbeat husband! YES!!!

The Taj Mahal was not a good experience. Upon booking over the phone, was quoted at a lower rate than what I was charged upon checkout. Additional services were billed to the room when that was specifically not what was asked. After leaving the Taj, it was nearly impossible to get someone in account receivable to return a phone call. I was told my credit card would be credited within 5-10 business days and a very nice woman apologized for the inconvenience. I still have not been credited and I have been unsuccessful at resolving this issue with any of the staff at the Taj, as their frequent response is that they will have someone return my call, which has not happened even once!

Got a good Internet deal with AAA discount, so I stayed here two nights. Arrived Sunday, they had very late check-in time, but they let me check in several hours early. (Later, they let me check out a few hours late as well.) Room was a good size, clean, very nice bathroom, flatscreen TV, comfortable bed, and a great ocean view. Needed a few things from guest services, and the agent was very helpful and friendly even though she was from New York. Couldn't afford the restaurants so I ate dinner and breakfast at the buffet, which were both excellent. Very convenient location right on the boardwalk; read a few reviews complaining about riff-raff being attracted from the boardwalk, but I didn't see any signs of that aside from lots of people, sitting on the outside steps leading from the conference room level to the boardwalk, eating funnel cake and blocking most of the steps. I only really had one complaint, which was that on Sunday night there was a live concert on a small stage located right next to the blackjack tables where I was playing; music was bad hip-hop type stuff, and it was so loud we had to shout just to hear each other at the table. I find it inexplicable that they'd design the casino that way, and continue to blow out gamblers' eardrums with this "music." Nevertheless, I had a great stay, was very satisfied, and would go back without a second thought.
