Tahoma Lodge, Tahoma

When I booked, I explained that we were a family with small children. The manager offered two choices. I asked her to recommend one as we have never stayed there before. She placed us in a duplex. At about 9pm the occupants on the other side arrived. The occupants blared their television (later rap music), drank and partied stomped, raced up and down the stairs repeatedly, banged furniture against the walls and were completely unruly. At 10:15 when we could not sleep, I placed a call to the occupants to ask them to please be quiet. They cursed and threatened me, then hung up. They then began to pound on the walls, scream and yell and then started calling our phone and hanging up. The children became frightened and we were very upset. There was no emergency number to be found in the room, so I called the only number I was provided, off the stationery that was left for us saying ironically “Happy Holidays”. No one answered and responded to our plea. This harassment went on for hours. I called the number again at 1:10 in the morning. No answer and no help came. It was impossible to sleep and we felt like we were held hostage. This went on for hours and hours until they finally must have passed out. It was well past 3am. My family got 3 hours sleep. Why would themanager put a family with small children next to two car loads of teenage boys, when there was another option available? The worst place ever!

Cute, rustic cabins with a kitchen. Lodge allows pets and has a hot tub. We had a great time and plan on going back. Only 10 min from Homewood Ski Hill. Prices are good for the area too. Didn't have any issues with dirt like other reviews state. It's not the Four Seasons so expect a "log cabin" style room.

I would never go there again. The cabin was filthy, freezing downstairs and hot in the sleeping loft. We were just plain uncomfortable.
