Auburn Place Hotel & Suites, Cape Girardeau

I have always liked it here, the staff has always been very nice and helpful. I just recently had a very unfortunate death in my family on my latest visit, and upon returning to my room one afternoon I discovered a card signed by the entire staff and laminated cut out of the obituary. All the staff knew was I was here because of the death of a niece. For them to find and laminate this and get card brought tears to my eyes. This was something that will never be forgotten. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. It is hard to find a place that shows sympathy and kindness like this without ever even knowing someone and that just made my day. This was truly a wonderful gesture and I thank everyone. This is truly a great hotel.

Made reservations and arrived only to be given a poor ass excuse as to why I could not get a room. Eventually they admitted to there mistake but in my anger I found a good hotel across the road

I stayed for one night and was sorry I could not stay another. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The room had many extras such as a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, ironing board/iron, and a hair dryer. The beds were actually rather comfortable. The price was reasonable.
