Holiday Inn Gainesville Lanier, Gainesville

This place is good but it ain't worth $100 a night, this is not a Hilton or a Marriott ... If the same room was priced at around $75.00 this would be a good stay but at this price ... No Way!

On July 7th our family stayed a Best Western Centre. I had stayed there the year before with a girl friend on the way to deliver our children to camp in Cleveland, Georgia. The accomodations are emaculant.The children enjoyed the pool and the wonderful free breakfast feast. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner in the restaurant. The prices were great and the meal portions were large. The chef's abiltiy to use all the right spices made everyones dinner spectacular. The house keeping staff also needs to be commended for the cleanliness of the rooms and the fascilites. Their careful cleaning and honesty found and returned my mothers diabetic glucometer back to my home quickly after I called them and realized where it was lost.I thought I lost an inexpensive watch but found it in a zipper compartment in my pocketbook and forgot that I had placed it there. None the less, they looked for it also and reported not finding it.The ground keepers made relaxing at the pool more enjoyable as the premises were well manicured with beautiful folliage providing privacy.I will use best western again and again on business and vacation trips. The service at the Best Western Lanier Centre in the restaurant, at the front desk, by housekeeping, and all it's staff was spectacular. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Stayed in that Hotel many times,I have only to say that the Hotel's service was excellent,the rooms well furnished and clean. Also the buffet breakfast and dining service is superb.

I travel quite frequently for business and stay in many, many hotels. After staying in both the Hampton and Best Western in Gainesville, GA. The Best Western is the clear winner. Breakfast is excellent, service and staff are top notch. Only negative is that it's a bit older than the Hampton but the service, staff, breakfast and onsite lounge more than make up for it.
