Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Oceanfront Resort, Daytona Beach

On our way back from WDW's Coronado Springs Resort, we decided to spend 1 nite in Daytona. We chose this hotel based on price and location. I have to say this was the BEST choice we made! Not only is the hotel VERY clean, the front desk personnel extremely nice but the location is the best. The pool was well maintained, the room fabulous, and the air conditioning cold. We are already making plans to stay a week next year! They could use some flat screen TV's but other than that --- A+++++!

We LOVED this place. We had a HORRIBLE experience from a slum down the street (Seaside Inn, which now has a lovely review... har har) and came here while seeking an alternative hotel. This place was only $20 more than the dirt-bag Inn and the room was a ocean-front suite. Clean rooms, linens, and floors. Plus my family felt safe and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better refuge. The only negative was the restraunt staff. Not all, but most, were completly oblivious to customers.

We were quoted a price and booked 2 rooms,when we checked out the price of the room was doubled!!!! I tried to talk to them and they wouldn't listen.The pool was freezing,like ice.You couldn't stay in but a minute.We went to the resturant and our son orederd pizza and it took forever,here she brought the pizza out in a box,they have the pizza delivered from local pizza place,it was cold and everything was overpriced.No free breakfast either and not very clean,esp.the outside of the hotel thats along the beach it needs to be repainted.If I would of saw this hotel from the beach I would of never stayed there cause it looked so runned down and dirty.NEVER AGAIN WILL OUR FAMILY STAY AT A HOLIDAY INN.NEVER.

Very Clean, Very Friendly, Great Place to stay, AAAA++++ Holiday Inn 930 North Atlantic Avenue Daytona Beach Florida We just got back from Daytona Beach June 2007 and we originally had reservations for a week at the Desert Inn 900 North Atlantic Daytona Beach, it was a total dump. Please read my review of the Desert Inn Resort (Resort HA, HA,) by searching Desert Inn Daytona Beach Florida reviews. DO NOT STAY THERE under ANY circumstances. We looked at a room at the Desert Inn and decided to loose our 200.00 non-refundable deposit and try to find somewhere that we would feel comfortable staying for 6 nights. We walked to the Holiday Inn right next door and told them we had reservations at the Desert Inn but didn’t want to stay there. They were very sympathetic. The Front Desk Staff at the Holiday Inn was AMAZING they found a room for us and we LOVED it. It was CLEAN, had granite counter top in bathroom, had a microwave, and a refrigerator. The maids came in every day and tidied up, vacuumed and made the beds. We had an Ice machine near our room, everything was VERY CLEAN. Carpet in room and in hallways was CLEAN. The Restaurant was nice the food was good. The Outside Bar, Pool and Patio area is clean and nice. Check In and Check Out went very smoothly. One minor glitch is the parking situation we had to park across the street because the Holiday Inn parking lot is so small. But other than that we absolutely loved the Holiday Inn. Each day I went to the front desk to ask a question or ask for more towels, etc and everyone who worked there was SUPER NICE, Very Helpful. I can’t say enough about how much we liked this hotel. the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again. right near the ocean and the beach.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms and the property around it. The pool was great! Used almost everynight, it never had a lot of people using it. It had great beach access also. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only " bad thing" was the parking. The lot at the hotel is small, so some nights we had to park across the street. But only Friday and Saturday. Location very convenient to other attractions, the pier and Daytona Speedway. Would recommend, Would return to this hotel!

The hotel was clean, lobby is spacious, rooms are large, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean. The pool was very nice and pool towels at desk was a nice feature. It was nice to have a restaurant in the hotel, food was decent, service & prices were great. Need for friendlier staff at the front desk, more luggage carts and improved service to the customers would be a big improvement! My room was on the beach side and was very humid/damp which made it stink. The carpet felt wet even with the AC operating fine. All my clothing felt damp in no time. My son's room which was on the street side was much better. With some improvement this hotel would be fine.

The manager and staff were very helpful and you couldnt ask for a friendlier group of people.The only drawback is lack of parking but the service more than made up for that.I highly reccomend the Holliday Inn Daytona Beach.

The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious, pool was inviting, beach was beautiful! Couldn't have liked it better. Close enough to all the hot spots, but far enough away not to have the noise and traffic.
