Cambria Landing Inn, Cambria

The only thing I liked about this low class "hotel" was the view, if you get a room with a patio, partial ocean view with cars parked right in front of the patio. Mattress, blankets & bed covers were dirty and with stains, smelly room, the towels were rough, and the continental breakfast was just two little muffins & bowl of bananas with unpeeled oranges. No hair dryer, no table clock, no lotion, no coffee maker, no ice machine, and I can go on. Very disappointed.

TThere was no microwave, no coffe maker, no alarm clock, and the breakfast was very boring--three mornings of oranges, bananas and small dry muffins! The refrigerator turned all of our food to ice. The noise from the next door restaurant was loud--especially the motorcycles!

My husband and I often go up to Cambria and had just by luck found this amazing cozy hotel. Cheryl makes you feel right at home and can't help you enough. The wine was excellent start to our vaction. Thank you to Cheryl, Joan and Bonnie. We will see you again soon!!!

Outdated, run down, ants in bathroom, poor customer service.. have stayed before and was ok, this time rooms reserved were not available at check-in and got no assistance from staff, although each person contacted said the matter would be addressed. Would not recommed this property to anyone, and will never stay again. Complaint submitted to Cambria Chamber of Commerce.

We went there for my girlfriends birhtday,4/06/08, it was PERFECT! For the price you pay, you can't ask for more. We had a balcony with ocean view, the room size is really good with a fireplace, Fridge and I can say it was very clean. It was private,not to mention that when you get there they give you a bottle of wine...Thats nice and in the morning they bring you your breakfast to bed. Joann in the front desk was very polite and everyone minds their own business, so you can enjoy Privacy. Another great thing amongst many....You have a Great Seafood and Steak Restaurant next door to you! Cambria is an AMAZING place! Money well Spent!...Memories for a Lifetime!!! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location on Moonstone Beach. The rooms are very large and comfortable. Most impressive were the plush beds and bedding. It's a great place to stay and we'll be back.

My husband and I stayed here several years ago for an Anniversary and really enjoyed our stay in the upstairs balcony suite. We called to make reservations for our 31st Anniversary and asked for the same suite but were told they were booked and the best we could get was a downstairs patio room. When we checked in and saw the room and the patio we were impressed. Clean room, GREAT view and larger outside sitting area. Location is perfect, especially love the elephant sea lions above San Simeon.....you can't not smile watching them! The walking trails are great even for old folks like us. My husband and & orignially made our reservation for a two night stay. We ended up staying five nights!!! CHERYL is fantastic! She made us feel as if we were home. I can't say enough good things about her! Our room was great too; the view absolutely the best, the continental breakfast with the morning paper, the bottle of Merlot when we checked in....and CHERYL as our guide. Hands down this will now be our home away from home. CHERYL if you read this, thanks again for making our getaway PERFECT!!! Bill & Janet

I had made reservations weeks in adavance for jacuzzi suite and an upstairs view of the ocean. When I got there to check in. The hostess BONNIE was nothing but very judgemental. My girlfriend and I were checking in and she didnt like what she saw and she made it very clear. When checking and she had said that there was no upstairs suite available. However in the prior weeks she made it very clear to me that I had gotten one. My girlfriend and I walked upstairs to see if anyone was in it. There was nobody there for the nites we stayed. Instead we paid close to $250 for a basement room. The walls were old concrete, the bathroom had hair in the tub and the toilet was not clean. We wore our shoes all weekend in the room. I had never had worse service. I will never stay here again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
