Quality Inn and Suites Gilroy, Gilroy

Sadly we didn't have an opportunity to actually stay here, nor will we ever. We were forced to cancel our reservations and called one week prior to do so, only to learn that this particular hotel has a 14 day cancellation policy. Although our reservations were during the Garlic Festival and our room could have been re-booked in 5 minutes, we were told that we still needed to pay for our reservation. "There are no exceptions- sorry." In this day and age, with the economy in the state that it is and with multiple consumer options, it saddens me to know that these people are so detached from their customers. I have one word for them... Karma.

For the convenience of a long driving trip, this place was perfect. Located just off 101, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The front desk manager was very friendly and accommodated our request for a quiet room away from the highway. The room was great. Price was good, and overall I would stop here again!

What a relief. After reading the different reviews for hotels in Gilroy Ca, I was worried as none sounded too promising. I chose the Quality Inn and was relieved when we got there. If your looking for a simple, clean hotel your in luck. The staff was wonderful. They were friendly, polite and just as helpful as can be. The hotel grounds were clean, neat, landscaped and best of all it felt safe. The Chevy's restaurant that is next to the hotel has really good food and incredible service as well. It may not be a destination resort but to rest a weary head it sure foots the bill.

I must give credit to the Front Desk and their Management. The way they handle and helped us during the kaos that occurred to the motel over this past weekend. They are very professional. My family and I appreciated the courteous service we received and the time they took to make sure we would have accomadations. Thank you!!!!!

If I could give this negative stars, I surely would! "Disgusting" is the word that comes to mind. Run down, dirty, holes in the blanket, stains on the sheets, and infested with ants. A very unpleasant stay!

This is a rather run down place The rooms are rather old fashion, dirty and noisy. Only pros I have here are 2 fridges in your room, a sofa (to dirty to sit in though) and a microwave. Breakfast is included in the price but don't expect to much of it. It was the poorest hotel we had on our trip

The location is great, with Chevy's and another restaurant (Black Bear?) only a few steps away. For the price we got more then we expected. Next time we stay in Gilroy it will be at The Leavesley Inn Again
