Creative California Coastal

The service is a fine mixture of Southern Hospitality and European Elegance. The menus are very creative and healthy. Each room has a unique theme of its own. The location is great too - close to the beach and Half Moon Bay and not too far from San Francisco. The afternoon tea is a value in itself - nearly a light dinner.

We love this place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/01/07
My husband and I have stayed here several times and plan to go back. The building is historical and has its quirks, but we have always gotten good service and fabulous breakfasts here. The hosts interact with the guests and are interesting and well-read people. We like books, travel and conversation ourselves, and always enjoy being here. We can walk to the beach, and there are good restaurants a short driving distance away. We have recommended this to friends, and would again.

BEWARE! Looks can be deceiving!
By Bonnie, 01/04/06
My boyfriend and I were extremely disappointed with this b & b. Their website made the rooms and establishment look so quaint. In reality, the inn was very crowded, the rooms were creepy and there was no privacy whatsoever. From the lobby, we could hear one of the patrons using their restroom! We checked in, paid our $200, and left that same night. It wasn't even worth staying overnight for the breakfast! Although the service was very pleasant, I certainly would find another way to spend the $200 next time.

Wow
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/04
I had my worst customer service ever from this place, hands down. My girlfriend and I were having unexpected trouble getting to the hotel in time for check-in, so we called to let them know we'd be late, and the owner got very nasty and unreasonable. I'd steer clear.
