Terrible

We were totally amazed how small the room was. How anyone could take advantage of the free for kids under 12 is totally incomprehensible. The door to the bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned since the hotel was renovated a few years ago. The lighting was useless as the only lights were the bedside lights. However there was one with a blown bulb about six inches above and forward of the tv. No doubt the bulb had not been replaced to give the punters a chance to see the TV. The TV though is of that wierd school of thought that a 14" screen about seven feet up in the air is acceptable to the public who only want to relax after a busy day enjoying Wellington city attractions.
When we got there we were presented with a form and told "there you are." We then had to interupt her private conversation to find out what we do with the form and a couple of other times to get info on the place, eg which was our room. Not good. Mind you other receptionists seemed to know what they were there for.
Costs: Yes on face value it is cheap but don't forget the $10.00 for parking. $99.00 plus $10 = $109.00. No restaurant on premises.
We ended up staying an extra night in Wellington and moved to the West Plaza at $115.00 INCLUDING 2 cooked breakfasts, free car parking, courtesy -and a 20" Tele!.
We suggest that people look around before taking the so called cheap option
