Disappointing Service, Room
I stayed here in late July '05. I had guaranteed reservations for a king room, but upon check-in was told they only had twin rooms available and when I complained, was told that there was no such thing as a "guaranteed" reservation for the type of room (even though I had paid in advance w/ a credit card). Then I tried to give them my American Air frequent flyer membership info for the miles, but was told that they weren't affiliated with American, only AeroMexico and Japan Air. That turns out to be a complete lie, they even advertise their affiliation with American on their own website. The room itself was just ok, really no more than the level of an avg. Hilton. The view was nice, but the carpet & bedspread weren't as clean as they should be given Japanese cleanliness standards.
