Holiday Inn Express Schaumburg, Schaumburg

I travel here a lot on business and haev never had an issue like i have been reading. the staff is always top notch. rooms are always clean and fresh. the new restrauunt/bar just makes it better food is close. for the days im just to tired to drive anywhere. just the last 6 times of staying there i had one small issue, i told the front dest about the toile lose from the floor and wehn i got back that evening it was repaird. and the breakfast is always good. it is a must stay

I'm in this hotel right now and I have no hot water. The mattress is from 1970 and the smell of cigarettes is coming from the vent in the bathroom. Worst hotel I've stayed at in a long time...and I travel a lot.

Booked a room with 2-bed on Expedia. Upon arrival, they tried to put us in a room with one bed (with full view of my family of four). They insisted that they do not know/care about the request. It is a problem between Expedia and us. They don't have roll-away bed, or any other room. We just left and went to another hotel. After the trip, we called Expedia to get the refund. The hotel refused. They confirmed that they did not provide the room requested but they will not give the money back!!! Expedia did send them the reqeust (otherwise how would they confirm that the request is not honored!) The hotel basically took the money and provide nothing. What a scam! If you only need a bed then fine I guess. But anything more, please think twice. We were lucky to find another hotel with 2 beds (Marriott, excellent reservation rep and excellent hotel) at 7pm. Image if we had arrived at midnight!

Open exposed electrical wiring box on Air conditioner this is Very dangerous. I have two young kids and one could have killed there self very easy. There was an electrical box attached to the cord of the air conditioner hanging from bottom of underneath. I did not see this until my daughter who is two tried to put her finger in it ( as we where packing up to check out.). It was open with wires exposed. We complained to front desk on check out. Also phone jack box was exposed and wiring hanging out under desk. I am Very concerned about staying at this location again. I wonder if that even would pass fire code. UGH! I will not stay at this location again.

close to a 7-11 store that was open 24hrs ... :-) the breakfast was good the internet was good the printer was good the room was clean the maid provided ample replacement towels the front desk person provided good directions people were friendly These are all things that can be fixed: (room #119) 1st: the door was extremely hard to open 2nd: there were flying bugs in the room 3rd: the desk chair was missing a wheel so when you sat in it you almost fell to the floor 4th: no refer 5th: no micro 6th: they were paving the pk lot so you had to park and walk a long way to your car 7th: the hand held shower needs to be fixed to stay on the wall

The room was clean, as opposed to another place we had rented on line without seeing it. We couldn't leave the other place fast enough and were so happy to see the usual high standards of the Holiday Inn. Breakfast was a nice addition--and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Thanks! We'll book there again.

Clean,quiet, and hot water for showers. Continental breakfast was good and very convenient as well as complimentary.I would like to know why we were charged $20.00 nore for the Sunday night stay.

From the moment I arrived at the Schaumberg Hotel, I was greeted by a friendly staff. The staff was great in meeting my accomodation needs. Even the housekeeping staff on site were friendly. As an executive manager, I look for quality staff who provide the best customer service and making sure the customer is satisfied. I know that everything I was looking for in my stay at the Schaumberg Holiday Inn was exceeded in every way possible. I applaud the managers, leadership and Holiday Inn team that work to provide the best experience possible for their customers. A++++

The location of this hotel was good. The breakfast was not that fresh, and rooms were not as clean as usual. Overall, the price and location are good but it is not the best holiday inn I have ever been to. This hotel was much better last year when I visited.
